Having been here in Halifax for a few months, from Toronto, I was really missing Jamaican food. Found this place and was so happy. Hopefully they will be adding rotis soon.
Awesome place. This is rather funny, but I ran into a group of Jamaicans that I knew who were similarly visiting Halifax for the weekend. What are the odds? Clearly Brawta is the place to be.
We were ordering from them before they opened . Great people great taste great service!
First time today second time is tomorrow wow I am blown away by the quality of the good the great prices, and blow wow omg no word describes that amazing flavour. And don't get me started on those beans. Thank you for such authentic flavours
Pretty good food. However if this place was in southern Ontario, it probably wouldn't be able to compete. The Caribbean food there is way better.
I've had jerk countless times in my life and this was the most flavourful I've ever had. Jerk sandwich with jerk chicken, slaw, and plantain was sooo good. Can't recommend enough.
Some awesome Jerk Chicken with a decent serving portion too! We had the goat curry too and it waa delicious thanks for the service!
