I’ve been taking first aid courses now for 18 years, and this was my first time using BraveHeart and will always be my place now! Such an awesome experience! Knowledgeable instructors and so much hands on learning, there wasn’t a dull moment. Highly recommend BraveHeart for all your first aid needs!
My son took his babysitting course through Braveheart, and I have taken my own first aid course with Nancy. Nancy creates a wonderful environment, that no matter your age, you are happy to learn, and you are having so much fun, you don't realize how much you are learning. I highly recommend any courses offered through Braveheart for their top-notch, fun and professional courses. These are skills we should all have. Thank you Nancy for this important community service!
I took this course today. The instructor began by ensuring that no trans or gender diverse people felt safe. He advised that people are easy to offend these days “apparently now you have to use correct pronouns..bla bla bla” which, you guessed it, incited all kinds of anti trans rhetoric in the room. I regret not saying something in the moment. I just sat quietly, fuming at this behaviour. Please do not hire this organization until they can ensure that ALL of your staff taking this course are made to feel safe and welcome.
Highly recommend Braveheart First Aid for all of your first aid and CPR training needs. We had our staff trained with Braveheart and were extremely happy with their level of knowledge and kindness. Awesome staff!
Easily the best, most professional, and skilled first aid provider I've dealt with. Their communication, hands on training, and knowledge is seriously a breath of fresh air and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
