Walked in and was greeted in French naturally, unfortunately I can not speak French. I responded with "english". I was then told by a staff member that I was "lucky" that she was bilingual and that I was in Quebec now. From the outside this place appears to be English friendly with most, if not all of their signs in both languages. Don't let the signage fool you, as one must be "lucky" in order to eat at this resturant if you are not proficient in french. The food was average at best, frozen burgers, fries from a bag, coleslaw from a can, typical greasy spoon fare. On a positive note, our server was fantastic. Will not return.
Food is great and so is the service. Being new to Temiscaming, I really liked this place.Rooms: 5/5
Very nice looking establishment very polite and nice people working there and I think I had the best poutine I have ever had with smoked meat. The fries were hot, and nice and crispy, appeared to be homemade, and a nice meal portion. I will definitely go back when I'm in that area and would recommend it to anyone. Now I've only been there once but that's my first impression and it was fantastic!

Great food and great accommodations. We have stayed at the hotel a couple of times and it was nice and clean. We have eaten at the restaurant several times now, while staying at the hotel and our stay at Camp Kipiwa! We highly recommend it weather you want to grab breakfast, lunch, dinner or a cold drink at the bar.Rooms: 5/5
Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable feeling. Stayed twice so far, once with the whole family, once without the kids. Both times were equally fantastic. Will be going back again and again. . Service was above and beyond our expectations.
