We love visiting the library. My daughter has attended baby storytime since she was 6 months now 3.5 years old and she always has so much fun. the librarians are all so kind and friendly, especially Kim & Rebecca, who run the children's programs we attend. They have just introduced a sensory friendly storytime once a month as well, for kiddos with special needs and sensory processing issues and we were so excited to attend. The librarians really took time to talk to the families there to understand how they could continue to grow and improve the new programs. It was wonderful to feel seen, and to have a safe space where my daughter can be who she is and still feel welcome and included. We look forward to all our library visits. Thank you so much BPL!

As a newcomer, I really appreciate the services and collection of books in the library. It provides a comfort for me and my child. Thank you for keeping a beautiful place and including us to broaden our possibilities to the world.
Really upset and has to leave the library mostly because people are loudly talking over the phone and gossiping. Most of the people are coming for entertainment instead of studying. Tried to talk with manager about these issue so she recommended me to move on the third floor or lower floor. Tried the 3rd floor and same issues are arising as people using phone on high volume and playing games or talking loudly and gossiping. Personally noticed that some of the students has to leave due to lot of distraction and disturbance. Now I am planning not to come to the library until this issue has resolved. I request the management if they can do the continuous checks on the 3rd floor and put the highlighted instructions on the 3rd floor clearly stating that this place is for study. I have no issues with the events going on at the 3rd floor and staff is really nice and cooperative and I am fed up by complaining all the time to staff and security regarding all these distractions. Moreover, about lower floor we can book study room for 2 hrs only and has no washrooms on that floor so it’s not worth to study on that floor. Please it’s my humble request to take any action on that and I really appreciate the work you do and the staff is really kind and helpful
This location is crazy GOOD! The variety of books, audio files, movies, and games is above and beyond. And did you know that you can check-out rishing rods here?nIt's hard to judge a place because of a homeless problem, they are doing their best at controlling it but the police won't do anything. Never let your children go to the bathroom alone here, I found a bag of white crystalline substance in the women's room, I left to tell security but as i did a mother with a young child walked in and I needed to warn them. This isn't the place for quiet study either, the quiet area downstairs is always full of homeless eating, arguing, using drugs and sleeping.n5/5 for what the library can controln0/5 for what they can't, but that's not their fault
