Cute little place with two rooms; one for karaoke and the other for a traditional bar setting. You can't hear the karaoke from the adjacent room so that was a plus for me. Went during holiday season and there was plenty of seasonal cocktails and decor. Will return.
Went during happy hour and DEFINITELY will be back! $5 palomas for the win! It’s a 2 sided speakeasy 1 side for karaoke and 1 side for a more chill, lounge like vibe. I sat on the chill side and it was very nice! Has a vintage look but it’s still really cute!
Brando's has to be one of the best places in Chicago to hangout with really amazing people. Have a few drinks, sing karaoke, and just be yourself. The bartender is such a great guy. He definitely takes care of you and makes sure you're safe.
It was my first time here and I really enjoyed myself. I came with some of my siblings and we all took turns doing karaoke. They have an app that you use to choose songs and perform. I didn’t get a drink but I had their regular fries and their sweet potato fries they were both really good. The people there were very friendly and supportive of everyone who went on stage. Great environment and safe place to be yourself.
A nice little place with two separate areas one for karaoke and one that is not. It is nice because you can go to the separate area and the karaoke is not overbearing so you can have more quiet conversations. There is also an outside seating area for when the weather is nice. The cocktails are ~$16 and the cover was $5 dollar per person in cash only. One less star because there was no card option for the cover.
Such a fun night out! Even though the place was absolutely packed, we were still able to get drinks easily, have a conversation, and enjoy the "show"... Make sure to have cash for the cover charge if you don't want to get hit with an ATM Fee
I was with my friends for karaoke and we had a great time in here. Price are normal, as in any place of this type. Drinks couuld be better, but they are not the worst. A lot of people inside which may prove that it is worth coming here. I personally recommend it. "I'll be back" :
We went in there and didn’t stay long before we decided to leave. The vibe was off, and the karaoke was extremely loud and killed the vibe. The staff were not friendly, nor helpful. We sat in the east room, and we waited there for a long time nobody greet us. I would definitely label this is a normal karaoke bar instead of a nice speakeasy. Did not even try their drink, so cannot say how good they are.
Really fun interior and place to hangout. Good pizza and drinks. Recommend to anyone who is in or going to Chicago!
Good drinks and cool vibe. The seating could be better, and the place is smaller than I saw online. Karaoke is fun. Just be sure to ask the host if they can play the song you want. The app they use for karaoke requests is outdated. Would recommend for an small group rather than a large one.
