This is for people that want to have a civil marriage ceremony. Once you park your car in the underground parking lot, take the elevator to the "G" floor. Then keep walking straight until you see the city clerk's office signage. You can then sign in on the kiosks for your appointment. When I went there, there was already a couple getting married. Their attire was super casual, just normal jeans and shirts. I dressed up, so did my wife, and had a suit on along with the white dress. This is obviously not necessary but if you do, you can take some nice pictures. The couples that came after us were super casual. So don't be afraid to go with your style. Now the best part is the person that marries you. She was an absolute angel, so kind, so sweet, guides you through the whole process step by step. She even helps you take pictures. I can't be more thankful to this person because she made the whole experience stress free. Overall, this was super efficient, very professional, and I couldn't be happier. Well done Brampton City Hall, well done!
It’s a beautiful quiet place. 1st agent who help me was not that friendly. Had to redo some docs went back 2nd agent was fantastic. Free underground parking available for all visitors. I was able to witness so many new couples at the location. Wedding ceremony happening at the location in a private area.
Amazing time to visit during Christmas lights. Usually happens in November with music and food trucks. Neatly put up and has all information you need within the city hall. The cops here are very friendly and even the security guards.
Love the lights this year. Like that parking is still complimentary after hours.
Very disappointed. Building and ambiance is very good but the lady on the reception behaves very rudely. I visited there on Monday March 13 - 2023 at 3.30 pm . She is curly haired aged 22 years approx . I had an inquiry about my property tax. She behaved very rudely, looks like frustrated with her work. We got very disappointed and came back without any other information.
The staff at the building permit office is so rude. Called to change inspections date and the lady started giving me attitude... so i keep asking her why you giving me attitude..oh because.... really...oh i will change it. And hangs up the phone.
My husband and I are happy visiting here for marriage license. The staffs are super friendly and nice. Moreover, walk-in is available.

Main hall not sufficient for big meetings, safety measures are good
The city hall Christmas tree doesn't look that great this year. Looks like they just threw some lights on it. Disappointing.
