The atmosphere, the music and the decoration are excellent! Waiters had really good vibes and were very helpful! And most important, food is delicious and nicely presented see pictures Bravo to the chef and the owner! I recommend this bistronimic restaurant that is totally worth it!
Apps were not great. The mains were okay. Expected more from a gastropub. Service and drinks was great though.
Called mid afternoon Sat to make a reservation - was told only 830 or 530 so took 530. Place was empty, still very few people by 630, slightly busier by 7, full by 830 when we left. Ordered the lamb. Plate and food was stone cold. Told staff & sent it back for warming, came back on a new cold plate with lamb slightly warm and veges still cold. Too bad as would have been lovely HOT. Not worth it for the price. In response to the owner - To be clear - I asked for a reservation at 630. How many times do you have to send a dinner back before it's HOT? By the second time my friends were half way through theirs and I was hungry so just ate it. Of course we stayed after dinner - it was already done and we were catching up. I didn't say it was terrible - but it specifically the cold food was disappointing. All the best!
The food here is incredible. Been here 3 times and cleaned the plate every time. Twice for brunch and once for dinner There's a reason it's packed during dinner time - it's the best place on this strip of Bloor W. For me the only downside is that they keep the lighting too low at dinner, I want to see my food and the faces of people I'm sharing a meal with.
Bald bartender/server is an absolute lad. 10/10 service. Just the GOAT all around. Called me “my man” which is nice cause I don’t hear that often. Made us drinks super quickly and knew the menu inside and out. Give that man a raise.Recommended dishesSteak Frites, Beef Tartare Bone Marrow
My Arctic Char was incredible and everyone raves about their own dishes. This might call itself a neighbourhood bistro but it is worth the drive. Great food, ambience, and staff.
Food was great on Friday night but being rushed to free up the table was not a great experience. Made a reservation and was told they were only offering 2 hour table seating windows. We were good with that, but after sitting down, our food was rushed, and after 75 minutes were told we needed to leave to free up the table. Not cool.
Brunch with my hubby and parents was very delicious. We had the shakshouka, French Toast and fish n Chips. We would go back again and try their dinner menu. The ambience is very warm. Loved the music they played . I give it 4 cause 1. the service could have been a tad better. The server came across a lil stuck up at first. 2. They only had 4 breakfast type items. a couple more would be nice.
Good breakfast, though service can be spotty even when empty. Odd that they didn't have kids high chairs. Good fish and chips, nice freshly battered. Needs to cut a corner out of the takeout container. Fries could be crispy.
We enjoy this place. The steak tartar is very unique and delicious. The various menu items I have tried were all excellent.Food: 5/5
