With the new golf simulators at each bay, it's not just practice anymore! I'm more motivated to go, when I can play a round! Yardage may not be your friend, but it does help to visualize! This dome is clean, and has a very challenging putting green. Please don't go on Sunday mornings, there is always a wait!
Staff is top-notch, facilities are awesome. Top tracer in a dome is a step above simulator golf because you get to see the first 70ish yards of ball flight to confirm the accuracy of the tracking. There are a few quirks with the technology, but I won’t get into those here because I don’t blame them on this business in particular. It’s also a bit spendy, but on par or cheaper than pretty much any golf simulator you can rent. Braemar Golf Dome is an invaluable resource to keep swinging your clubs through Minnesota’s dreadfully long offseason!
It was my first time visiting since the Top Tracer technology was installed. This is a game changer for practice or flat out fun. Since all domes aren't more than 100 yards, any shots longer than that you don't get great feedback on the physical ball flight but with Top Tracer you do. Shots that seem okay to good on physical flight may not be what they seem and Top Tracer gives you the full ball flight, including ball speed, carry distance, and full distance. I did a warm up mode and played Torrey Pines there are around a dozen other courses in the US and Europe. There are several other game modes that I am interested to try out at my next visit, can't wait!
First time back to Braemar Dome post 2012 fire and I was thoroughly impressed. The addition of launch monitors in each stall was a welcome one and the "bar" near the entrance was a nice touch.
Staff were great! Very helpful and friendly! Nice place to hit golf balls and enhance your game using the technology that transfers to your phone. Very cool!
An inexpensive alternative to places like Top Golf which retain the fun while staying within a budget.
Good place to pracice, The wait can be long, sometimes is very loud, the bays on top and toward the edges don't always pick up your shots.
Perfect for practice during winter months. Unlimited balls makes it more fun ..!! Shot tracer is pretty cool.. Nice place to hang out during a snowy cold day ..
It's not fun hitting golf balls outside in February in Minnesota, but in here at least its warm and you can hit with your jacket off.Your mask must stay on, or you can hit outside somewhere with it off if you like.
Prices tend to go up every winter it seems like but it's still a great place to come practice during the dreadfully long MN off-season. Top tracer ha been a huge upgrade the last few years. Best to come with a couple buddy's otherwise can be a little spendy.
