Brûlerie Artisanale Brown Bag
"We focus on single origin beans. Single origin coffee is grown within a single known geographic origin. We believe these give us the best flavour profiles we are looking for. Each origin brings a unique, subtle nuances. While we try and focus on a single farm within those origins, these are not always available. Crop dates and crop sizes will determine which we can source. We try and include as much information on our site and coffee bags as we can so you know exactly where and what you are getting. We also use these origins to create our blends - both drip / french press and our very popular espresso. A blend allows us to marry the benefits of each bean, bringing out a completely different flavour."

I strongly recommend this local coffee shop. They have a good selection of coffee and they roast their coffee beans in-house, so their quality is exceptional. Ditch the artificial Tim Hortons ice cap and enjoy an iced coffee naturally sweetened with maple syrup. It was delicious! Bonus discount from bringing your own mug. They also sell some bake goods and sandwiches; and they have a selection of local products for sale in case you are looking for a last minute gifts. Ecological packaging for their products. New fav place.
Dropped by on a Sunday morning. The smell when you step inside was wonderful. The lovely lady helping me suggested a very nice Guatemalan coffee bean brewed in their Trifecta Machine. Very aromatic with some nice acidity. Bought some beans as well for home and can't wait to try it. Highly recommend this place. The owners are doing something special here.
Must stop if you’re in the area…perfect, cozy coffee shop! Not to mention the coffee is delicious…roasted on place! Try their bourbon barrel aged coffee before it runs out…they only have limited stock
Legit coffee, great customer service and an owner that actually reads the feedback given by customers. I bought bags of Ethiopian, Columbian and Guatemalan beans, and the description as noted by bbcr are very on the ball. I'm really quite happy with the coffee beans and note that it compares well against the local roasters in Vancouver. It is a big jump from the standard "off the shelf" stuff from the grocery stores, but the pricing is not that far off. Given the low threshold for free shipping, it's a pretty great deal and would be an appropriate step into good coffee. Reliable and tasty. I'll do it again. Thanks Shann and team.
Support local business owners and enjoy great tasting coffee!!! Really enjoyed the studio tour given by Shann. It was super fun, roasting beans was really cool. Shann took a lot of time explaining everything about his business and coffee. The tasting experience at the end really topped it all off. After learning about the beans origins, the farms, the coffee collective and the charities he supports such as La Rosa, his roasting equipment and how he tests and refines his single origin taste profiles. My fav is the Brazilian... you should come and visit and try them all out!
Delicious coffee with lots of options to explore. Competitively priced compared with other local roasters. Delivery was quick, easy, and the delivery person was lovely. Excited to order again soon!
Kinda in the middle of nowhere, but great coffee and helpful staff. There are a number of blends and varieties to choose from on their website. Modified my review given their home delivery program. Very convenient, and the recurring subscription makes me not have to buy coffee at the grocery store. Thanks for providing this service, really helpful. Check it out! GREAT Customer service!
Great high quality coffee. Our favourite coffee to brew in the city. If you care about where your coffee comes from and how it is handled, roasted, and packaged it is definitely valuable to check out the studio tour.
Great selection of roasts, worth the drive down if you like some variety.
Excellent service, a good selection of fresh roasted coffees including occasional special releases like Bourbon barrel aged coffee. Also have a selection of coffee gear for coffee geeks.
