I was berated and forced to tears by a nurse named Lacey. She shrugged off my pain as anxiety and was completely ableist and rude. As a chronically ill person I know my body well and what works and doesn't, and asking questions about treatment shouldn't be taken as a personal attack to her. I do not understand how she is a nurse when she lacks all compassion, empathy, and seems to seethe hated towards autistic individuals. I have never had an issue with any nurse I've had- her berating me and threatening me was completely shocking and will stick with me if I ever have to go to Boyle again.nnEvery other nurse and doctor, and the lab techs were very kind and understanding. But when one person makes you feel unsafe I think its important to rate according to that.
Nice helpful staff in a tiny town.nnIts not the biggest, newest, fanciest or flashiest hospital but if your truly sick the ER department has amazing doctors and staff that will treat you accordingly.nThey are not there to overdose or under dose you on drugs, they are there to solve ER needs and they did a fantastic job on a not only busy but sever day. Thank you =
one star for very reasonable reasons.unprofessional as there wasn't a doctor in the area and took two hours to arrive. after asking how long it would be the nurse gave a rude remark back telling me there wasn't a doctor in the hospital. no one checked in to let me know what was going on either. no one cleaned the injured foot and let the cut dry up.
Kind and compassionate staff
I hate hospitals with a passion. BUT this one is LOADED with very friendly staff. Get sick and go find out for yourself. Like all hospitals, there is the odd cranky staff member that CAN be very kind.
