This parking lot is enormous & easy.nnIt is rectangular and runs along the side of the trail, so there are several ground-level entrance points making for easy entry for accessibility-impaired persons, cyclists or otherwise, and strollers.nnNote it is a gravel parking lot.
The largest parking lot for accessing Bowring Park is available. During the Winter and Spring its hard packed earth is usually pretty terrible for parking on. Full of ruts, potholes, frozen snow, and mud, it isn't a great place to park or walk. One of the entrances off the parking lot on Waterford Bridge road isn't level with the road either and can make entering and exiting the park a jarring experience.nIt is too bad, because the park is so great, but the parking lot isn't fun.
Beautiful park with excellent amenities. Parking is free and spacious. Nice place for families,dogs and visitors alike.You can bike,jog,run,walk,swim skate and lots more.love it
