Had an absolutely great time. Will most definitely be back. The ice was smooth, the rooms clean and the staff was excellent, the girl driver with curly hair really went beyond to make sure the experience was as great as it was.
Find my self visiting hockey areas around town Bowness Sportsplex is a great place to go for hockey. The heaters work tho the last bench doesn't have one wich is fine the bench them selfs are raised higher than the ice giving you a great vantage point if the rink.
Bowness Community Association boasts of a nice community facility tucked in an easily accessible neighborhood of Bowness. My family goes to watch our son play Hockey there and it feels welcoming each time I go there. There are clean rental spaces/halls, activities, art work. The information board on the wall stands out for me. You get information on food support, community support, upcoming opportunities, arts, sports, research etc.
Saw the post about helping the dying dog get what it wanted the chance to play in snow before it passed, so I had to look for them and give them a 5 star review
Completely outdated arena. Calgary has a ton better arenas I don't even know why this would be used for midget level female hockey. There was no concession, or if there was it wasn't open. The warm viewing area was not easily accessible and you couldn't see very well.
