Great place! The owner is a world renowned pastry chef, her signature dessert is called L’Absolut. Very good value for your money 1 cup of hot chocolate + 1 glass of juice + 1 dessert, 12€.

came across this patisserie whilst looking for breakfast. beautiful shopfront. so many pastries and dessert...so tempting and pretty. eventually chose the Saint Honore. wow!! the flavours, layers and textures with each bite...light yet flavourful and not too sweet. truly an amazing creation. also bought the hazelnut financier, canale, chocolate sable. wish we had more time in Beaune so that i can return to try other pastries here. a good incentive for next trip to Beaune. beautiful seating area in the shop.

While searching for the perfect croissants and pain au chocolats, we found our absolute favourites at Marie Simon and returned every day as long as our holiday lasted.

Great!!! Accessible and nice Marie Simon still works at her shop while being one of the best pâtissière of the world. Amazing experience really.

Unfriendly staff: we arrived in the end of the morning looking for a table for 4 people the salon was basically empty, at least 2 tables available. The answer we got was: sorry we can't clutter 4 chairs around a table , that will compromise the circulation in the empty salon . Don't recommend this place.
