We have been customers for many years. Seems like the food quality has gone down. Tried to call the restaurant twice before this review, but no answer and the website says it’s still open as it’s only 8 pm. Spent 50$ plus a tip and picked up my food. When I got home my husband and I were very dissatisfied with our food. The rice was hard, the Kafka was rubbery, the bread was SO hard, even while it was wrapped in a paper covering, the chicken was hard and the potatoes were stale! Kind of insulting to serve food like this to us, pretty sure we won’t be going back. This isn’t the first time also that this has happened, but I just didn’t write a review. My son also had the same experience and he called and they gave him a free meal. Again, as I said above, I tried calling tonight, Sunday at 7:30 pm but no answer and was still early.
I bought rice and chicken boul and they put very small quantity of chicken and they put lot of rice and salad that's why I don't like them. And they are charging crazy prices, no value for money
Food here used to be good but last time we ordered take out was quite a big disappointment. Our chicken shawarma plates had just a dusting I’m not exaggerating of grilled meat. A big pile of rice, a few roasted potatoes we ordered half and half, with traces of meat on top. Essentially, the plate was rice with coleslaw. You might as well call this a vegetarian dish, ugh…
I'm a frequent customer at the Greenfield Park location on the South Shore. It's a restaurant so good that my friends coming in from out of town insist on making that one of our restaurant stops. I know the guys behind the counter, chit chat, you know, a nice local place to visit. When I stayed in Pierrefonds for a few weeks, I figured I'd give the one on St Jeans on try. The person working the counter was kind, but the food? A disappointment. The rice heating element had been left on way too high, so the rice coating the metal container was burned/rock hard and the center was mush. The shawarma and sauces felt heavily salted, and the coleslaw salad was flavourless. I'm not a pinky up type of guy; I just wanted solid consistency like I get at the South Shore location but this wasn't it. I gave it another try recently, just the falafel which I figured was a safe bet, but while the sandwich was just "ok" didn't have that signature grill char on the pita Boustans is known for the potatoes were bland and poorly cooked. Considering they charge the same price as other locations, which is already pricey for the food you're getting, I'd steer clear. Nice people, not so nice food.
Best potatoes among all Boustan’s. I love the service. The staff is really gentle and their service is super fast. The pitas are another level. Completely recommend. Vegetarian options: There are very good vegetarian options as well. Cheap and very well served.
very bad service since the owners have changed the man was picking his nose before making the sandwich very unsanitary they dont use gloves either i have been a loyal customer since 2017 but since last couple of month it has realy changed i never wrote a review but realy bad service nothing is fresh go to basha DDO instead
It is for second time in row that happens. I ordered pita chicken but even I couldn’t find a chicken. Maybe 4or 5 grams of chicken. They are not generous at all, particularly when they understand that you have coupons. I was fan of boustan but not anymore. I am not sure how other branches are but this branch is terrible.
I come here frequently, but today a woman was working whom I had never seen before. Let me just say that the food was incredible. I am sure it was because of her. I am blown away!

Why do you guys burn the potatoes? Shawarma beef was good but potatoes had no flavour and they were burnt and smell like burnt oil. It was my third time facing such issues with potatoes, my husband even mentioned one time before. We never buy potatoes again!
