Food was really good, service was also pleasant. Our server was very kind and accommodating. The food prices were very expensive for the little portions and overall taste. Good for the experience, but I would think twice before going back. They also charge 17% gratuity on dine in & takeout… BTW, the Chicken & Shrimp Sizzling Plate, and Chicken & Shrimp Cajun Pasta were the BEST out of all the dishes we tried. We tried 6 different dishes!!!
Friendly, flexible service. Good comfort food. Flexible because they made a vegetarian version of their chicken pasta. It was a tasty spicy broccoli tomato basil pasta. The hostess at the front had told us they will not change anything in the menu but we took a chance and asked our waiter and we could have our tasty veg version . It’s a spacious restaurant conveniently located for embassy suites guests.
Quite sad to read so many reviews on the overpriced food. My family ate here in May 2022. We were tourists and did not know about the fact that they were overpriced. We also did not know about the culture of tipping. We heard that waiters would chase after the customers if no tips were given. So we tipped on top of whatever service charges levied as part of the bill. When we entered the restaurant, no one bothered to show us to a table, even though the restaurant was fairly empty at around 3pm and there were many staff standing around. Overall experience was not positive. We did not go back again even though we stayed in a hotel next door.
We visited TJI Friday for a quick bite and beers. The location is awesome.. right before Niagara falls . We ordered a burger and a couple of beers. The food was fresh and delicious. The service is fast. The restaurant is pretty big. I have been to TJI Friday, India, which is such a happening place which raised my expectations over here. Comparing that I would say the drinks menu is limited and very few in-house beers . This restaurant does not have a beer tester/flight which is disappointing as well. overall, a good place to hangout .
The service here was good! Restaurant wasn't busy at all. Likely due to the inflated menu prices. Not sure if they are inflated cause it's in the lobby of the Embassy suites, or cause it's close to the Falls. However, the food did not meet the price they were charging. We decided to share the appy platter. Which had small portions. And a spinach dip, which was mostly artichokes. Not much dipping. Lol Lasly, we had the brownie dessert, which was the highlight. I would recommend just the dessert.
The only compliment I can give is that they will sell you alcohol to go. Other than that, I can't say much in their favor. The food was way overpriced for what you get. Low quantity and low quality. Check out the actual price of a salad we bought from them for the price of $25! Crazy. There are much better options within close walking distance. Also you can easily door dash and Uber eats to this hotel so don't feel limited to the on site restaurants. Kid-friendliness: Small arcade in the lobby
Broke my 30th birthday here with a delicious cheese cake. The food was good, rye wings was good and burger was good too. Definitely would see me again Kid-friendliness: They have food and drinks for kids.
The food is really good. I like the shrimp and chicken pasta and New York steak. The service is also really good.
Professional service, enjoyed the beer that the server recommended. But the quality of food is not the quality that I expected. However, the early 2000s American family dining vibe of this restaurant was fabulous.
RIP OFF!!! BE AWARE. I went late last night for a quick dinner. It was late so we just had the appetizers. The quality of food is terrible but I didn’t expect good food for a place like that. My bill was $104.76. I ended up paying $133.38. They give you the machine to pay so I paid a 20% tip on a $13% tip + food. 20% on $118.38. My phone was dead so I didn’t get the opportunity to read the reviews.
