We've just left heaven on earth!!! The photos, unfortunately, hide some of the beauty and do not reflect the gorgeous smell you're welcomed with entering the place. We were lucky enough to have arrived earlier in the morning and be greeted with the view of the cutest homiest pâtisserie-boulangerie-viennoiserie. There was a great variety of pastries and pies, really hard to choose from. We ended up buying the cheese loaf pain aux fromage, hazelnut/almond-chocolate/almond croissants, a giant pistachio cookie-like pastry and a choco-banana pastry. All of which were, of course, home-made, and splendid!!! Really delicious, beyond words! Touring Quebec and going from one pattiserie to another, I can honestly say we've finally found what we were looking for all along! Situated in the small village of Lachute, this place also offers an outside lawn with pretty, vintage picnic tables you can dine in and enjoy your food under the sun. Really worth making a stop here, if you're a tourist, or be introduced to your best local bakery, if you live nearby!
By far my favorite bakery. I am gluten intolerant and they have the best gluten-free bread aroundnot Celiac safe. Everything they make is amazing, so I don’t mind travelling from Montreal for all their wonderful treats.
Although the wait can be long if there are several people waiting to get in, I swear by their products and always make time in my weekend as they are only open Fri-Sat-Sun from 7 AM to 7 PM to drop by and get fresh bread! I'm so happy we have a wonderful place like this in Lachute!
YUM!!! ONLY OPENED FRI-SUNDAY arrive at 9am get your pickings on the best selections everything is crazy good
Jean Paul and Jeanne are the best... Best bread in qc
A little bit pricy and small, they only allow one customer at a time because of the pandemic. The pastry is a must if you are there, I haven't had something great like this for a long time! Very delicious!
Brilliant baked goods from a classic bakery, looks the same as my grandmothers bakery in the 80s. Had crossant aux amandes and focaccia, both were fantastic.
A must try near Lachute and Gore. The bread is excellent and there's many varieties. Same goes for pastries, pizzas, sandwiches, etc. You can also stock on various items such as pasta, olives, coffee and more. You can get a hot meal soup and the coffee is very good. Try this place, you won't regret it.
This place is way overrated. There can be lines out the door of people waiting to purchase bread and such so it's an extremely popular place but I really don't care that much for their products. I've tried many of them and they're just very ordinary except for the focaccia. The merquez Focaccia is to die for! To top it off, they are way overpriced and rarely open. Their business hours are very limited and very often they are closed during those business hours. The location is a bit out of the way so I'm surprised that so many people patronize this place because it's so frustrating to drive miles and miles to bump your nose on the door.
They had desert to die for fresh of the day. Also they make fresh bread. They have a small area to eat a homemade soup etc It's an excellent place to eat and buy the special bread, desert etc we want to bring home. Theu have squares, breads etc
