Love this place. Average on sandwiches but 5 stars on bread and croissants. I go there for breakfast and lunch when I travel to Boucherville for work.
Popped in just before closing for our first visit. Most of the crew was busy putting things away and couldn't be bothered. We had to interrupt an employee to find out what cash and service station was opened.
They have great pastries and sandwiches. Staff is friendly and welcoming.
Huge nicely decorated clean and tidy sitting area. Polite employees and wide range of French fresh baked items to choose from. You can enjoy tea or coffee with a free good speed wifi while parking your car next to you for free. Unlike others it opens on Mondays. The only thing annoys me is why no free third croissant if I got them mix chocolate and regular while you have the same offer on both, buy two get the third for free !
It is always fresh delicious simple ingredients but very good. Staff is amazing the place is clean I come there more then I would like to admit
Great fresh bread.. sandwiches, pizza and desert pies!
Had the sandwich La Parisian. Cost $7.00. Mostly bread with 3 pieces of salami and 2 slices of cheese. Very dissatisfied with the lack of filling in this sandwich. I threw away the top piece of bread away and folded the sandwich in 2. Very poor value at Boulangerie Ange for lunch
All the pastries taste the same, not much options.
Anything baked here is delicious. The sandwiches and prepared savory meals are below average and tasteless altogether. Stick to the sweet and the baked, order-to-go stuff. Pay, get your bag and get out of there. I've had the breakfast sandwich with the egg inside and the parisian bagette. The egg sandwich had only the taste of the lettuce, the bagette made me sad with honey ham and slices of emmental that so thin they were almost transparent. Tasteless. The coffee was warm at best, and the attendant took so long to prepare it that my sandwiches went cold. The place is so big it takes forever for the attendants to finish an order. Worst part was the service. When I asked why it was taking so long, the girl said with an attitude thay there was too much work and that it wasn't her fault. I wasn't blaming her, but her attitude was very defensive. I told her to at least give me the sandwiches before they go cold, and the other girl responded defiantly, asking if I was trying to skip the line. I tried to make things up by jokingly saying that maybe the place was too big and that's why it took more time to get things done. She responded, again, defensively, saying that it was not her fault, as if saying "I don't care". At that point I had had enough. I told her to please call the manager. Turns out there was no manager, but another lady came out and tried to justify the whole thing by saying they were short on staff no apology at all. I told her that I could understand, but that this doesn't explain the bad attitude of the girls. My recommendation: order simple stuff, nothing that requires extra work, like heating up stuff or preparing coffee. Get your baked goods and get out. I felt snubbed and they never provided an apology.
i’m a regular here and everytime I come in there seems to be problems with the manager and its employees. bald guy always being disrespectful to people working and the staff looks miserable. I hope they’re okay.
