A not-so-hidden gem adored by locals and the hype is truly real. We mainly come for the porchetta sandwich, a must-have when in the neighbourhood and ask for the bread to be toasted, it makes all the difference! The porchetta is juicy and tender, meshing perfectly with the tangy sauce. There's also a very subtle hint of spicy, making you want more after each bite.
First time. High end all around. Best cutlet sand which around! Tony marinaro recommends, and I approve. It’s a must visit for lunch. They all all sorts of treats as well. Friendly staff and great coffee.
Neat place to get delicious sandwiches, side dishes, cold cuts, and Italian imports products. The café crema is absolutely divine.
they're baaacckkk! my first visit to their new digs on Juliette street, and aside for more space and light, everythig is as tasty as it was. big plus, espresso bar and sweets from the bakery that was next to the od storefront. and it's zeppole-time. i couldn't hep indulging. so to recap: porchetta sandwich, espresso and zeppole. heaven on a straw platter!
The first time we tried this sandwich was at a birthday party and it was 8 foot long. Since then, we had to come and try it out. We ordered the porchetta panini along with arancinis. The sandwich was very flavorful. It was packed with low roasted pork belly, thinly sliced and layered between homemade Bomba sauce, marinaded eggplants, chopped iceberg lettuce, sliced tomatoes and onions served on a freshly baked ciabatta bread. The sandwiches are made on order. The arancinis were made with arborio rice, mozzarella, and the addition of beef and peas. A must try if you are in the LaSalle area!
One of my favorite, if not favorite sandwich shops in Montreal. It's a deli / grocery store with Italian goods - good selection of pastas, meats and cheeses. Nice daily selection of food, 20-30 seats for you to dine in if you want to. Personally recommend the porchetta sandwich - they make a great one.
I ordered an 8 ft porchetta sandwich for a company event after getting a referral. The sandwich was delicious and enjoyed by 20 people and there was still leftover! The 8 ft sandwich on a board made a great impression and the service was excellent! Highly recommend!
I love this place. Great food, great service all around. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You will be hooked. The sandwiches are my favorite. You will never go to Subway again after you try them
The best porchetta sandwich. They also have amazing hot dishes made daily. I love their deli/cafe/resto. Go early always packed around noon
