I came here tonight for the first time with my boyfriend. I've been wanting to go for a year now and finally got around to it. This is our new chicken place. The wings are AMAZING. The service was impeccable- all the guys working tonight were very knowledgeable and gave us a menu tour. They were all hilarious and so kind. They are clearly passionate about their work and are happy at their jobs and it shows. It translates to amazing service and an awesome experience. Not only is this an amazing spot to get a delicious dinner, they are accommodating to different dietary restrictions!! I can happily say I will be back. Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and happy employees all tell me the owners are great people which I already knew. 1000/10 will be back!! P.S. get the gold sauce. Trust.
I would give this place a 6-star rating if they had one. Great new concept and the food was second to none. The build-out is fun and the service was what really added to the experience. The menu is easy and simple but very well done. Will and Ron are the best! I grow up in northern Ohio and moved to DC 20 years ago. I owned several restaurants and talented employees are a key. These guys got I going on.
Mel and Mike were a delight. Care, attention, and enthusiasm for their work translated to a great dine-in counter experience. Also, excellent tasting food. I stumbled upon this place by chance and am thrilled I did.
Delicious and affordable chicken with big portions. Food came out really quick and service was fantastic, Will the manager I assume was super friendly and nice. The mac and cheese and the fries were the favorites of the group. All the sauces were really good. Definitely a great experience!
We are regulars here. By far the best soft pretzel in Ohio, maybe the World. They are the most entertaining and enthusiastic crew. Sit at the bar and you’ll have a few new friends in a matter of minutes.
Revised review: The original review was a little harsh, I did not give Boss ChickNBeer a fair shake. I understand that being a small business is difficult. The owner is very committed to the business and community. First impressions are not always everything. The restaurant was busy and buzzing with people on a weeknight. So there has to be something special about this establishment.
Always good food. I have been going there since they opened but I would not say I am a regular. I stopped by there tonight after visiting my dad at hospice. The person behind the bar must have noticed I was having a rough night. He bought me a beer without hesitation. I needed that act of compassion more than he knew. Service is always great but tonight it was above and beyond. Thanks.
I would give 10 stars if possible. First time experience at the restaurant was during Super Bowl, and it was a great one. They were extremely busy, though handled the crowd quickly and efficiently. Not to mention the incredible staff that served us our order. Also the gluten free options are second to none, my daughter was finally able to enjoy french fries, onion rings, and wings again. Highly recommend this place.
Stopped on the way out of town heading back to FL by random chance. So stoked we did. Best fried chicken we’ve had in a long time. Clean establishment with amazing service. Great music, and we loved the beer selection. If you haven’t been yet, get here; you won’t be disappointed. The superfood slaw is off the charts delicious.
Stopped by Boss in Bay Village on Saturday evening for the first time. The food was so amazing I was surprised to find such a gem of a restaurant in such a little town. The employees were very welcoming and had a great energy to them. I’ve worked in the food industry for many years and I really appreciated how kind and understanding the two guys were with the new girl while she seemed to be getting the hang of things. I would absolutely recommend checking it out.
