2 hour private lesson for my child in the summer. terrible lesson. He talked to my young son about the theory of riding a bicycle for over one hour. My son did not get to even get on a bike until the last 30 min of the lesson. Then soon the lesson is over. My son learned nothing but just be bored by the non-stop talking. Guess what, he asked us to book more lessons. IMO he is just dragging it out to ask us to pay for more lesson. will not recommend.
I was very impressed with the level of customer service I experienced with Peter. It was my first experience riding a mountain bike and he helped fit me for the perfect bike to rent. We had difficulty with the first bike but Peter stepped up to the plate by providing us with another bike and ensured we were looked after regarding our outing myself & a friend had planned around weather. Not every bike place would have been so accommodating. I would definitely rent from Born To Ride again and would recommend them to others. I have been bitten by the Born To Ride BUG .... can't wait till next season!
Very thorough lessons! I did the tri package and went from a total non rider to feeling comfortable on the bike. With the skills and strategies provided by Peter the instructor I can now ride comfortably and with confidence. I would highly recommend these learn to ride lessons!
Was pretty disappointed in the 3 hour private lesson in the evening for two boys, they did not advance their learning. I booked this based on the 2 hour promise they would be riding. Time was mismanaged, it wasn't until two hours later after dark did my son actually get on the bike and my other son only had 30 minute lesson. I would have preferred more time on the bike and less time on concept. Also better to bring your own bike, bikes used in lesson were not right size and really run down. Was told to book more lessons...already spent appx $500. No Thanks! In RESPONSE to the OWNERS REPLY... In case you need to be reminded....we have been on lockdown for the last 5 months due to a Pandemic and I prefer to put our safety first, not sure why when I book my lessons matters especially since you offer lessons all year round. 2 out of 3 sessions offered were evening sessions with the exact same start time, don't offer these time slots if they don't work for the lesson that is booked. I had booked the 3 hour lesson for two kids based on your recommendation. It's absolutely ridiculous to call two healthy boys malnourished! Do you even know what that means? or looks like? Swimming is the life skill we prioritized every year since they were 3 month old. It's a survival skill! I would not be seeking bike lessons if I didn't value it as life skill, its from parents like me who are willing to pay for lessons that companies like you are able to make a business out of it. My kids are very bright with many outstanding teacher reviews so to have a bike instructor who clearly can't teach criticize their ability to learn is absolutely ridiculous and to prove it I found another dissatisfied parent review on TripAdvisor from 2 years ago. This review is almost identical to my recent experience. So clearly my review is very credible and both reviews speak volumes about your teaching ability. Tell me do you pride yourself in publicly insulting a parent who is simply dissatisfied with your services. STAY AWAY FROM THESE BULLIES PEOPLE!
