Female callers beware. I called and asked about a tire rotation and alignment on a small car. The guy said the rotation would take about an hour and the total quote was $275. It would take me at home by myself less then an hour to do the rotation. Sorry buddy, I'm just not that stupid. Over 100 less at Canadian tire. You try and support local and this can happen. Shame on them! An hour for a rotation , my god the nerve.
Called to ask about the cost to diagnose a possible axel issue in my dodge ram 1500. Was told to come in asap and he'd take a look. Sat in the passenger seat and listened while I drove in the parking lot and diagnosed immediately. He then called for the part and it was VERY reasonably priced. His shop rate is also fantastic. By 1 the next day my truck was fixed as if nothing had happened. Prompt, no nonsense, straight to the point service. I wasn't made to feel like I didn't know what I was talking about either. I will take all my maintenence work to boosted from now on.
I really wanted to like Boosted Auto as there are very limited options for good tire shops here in Warman. I've had zero success in the three times I've taken vehicles here. First time I took a Jeep Patriot in for a TPMS sensor replacement and relearn. They replaced the sensor but claimed they were having problems with their programming tool and were unable to program it. I was disappointed but stuff happens. Second time, I took in my Audi S4 to have the tires balanced as there was a shimmy around 110km/hr. They balanced all four tires and I was told that the tech took it for a drive and it was very smooth. I get it out on the highway and nothing has changed, shimmy still there. When I got home, I put it up on jackstands and let it idle in first gear. Noticed that 2 out of the 4 wheels had bends in them. Not their fault they were bent but what kind of a tire tech balances tires on a bent wheel? Very amateur. To their credit though, Glen did refund me a portion of the balancing after I talked to him, which was nice but never should have happened to begin with. Even the greenest tire tech knows that you check the wheels for bends while balancing, this is tire installation 101. I gave them one final opportunity today on my F150, it needed a couple of TPMS sensors replaced and then programmed to the vehicle. They replaced the two bad sensors at least I think they did, and when I got there to pick it up the tech told me that they are unable to program the sensors and that I'll have to take it to Ford because their tool won't do it. Pathetic. I came to have the problem solved and once again I will be resolving it myself. Is this a real auto repair shop or just a bunch of amateurs with coveralls? The F150 is one of the most common trucks on the road, if you can't do this right then what can you do?
Took my wife's car there for replacement of a tire...they replaced the tires perfectly, but neglected to mentioned they broke the pressure gauge in the tire...setting the censor off continuous, idk if they were expecting us to bring it back to them or what, but we've taken business elsewhere ever since.
I went there for a wheel alignment and my truck was shaking. They tried to balance my tires to find out my tires were cupped bad and they let me know right away. I got them to order me up some new tires, they got them in and installed when they said and the truck rides like a dream now. Will continue to go there for more goodies on the truck! Excellent service and friendly staff!
Called around a bit to have a oop inspection done on an imported car and very few shops could. I called boosted and was told to bring my car in the next day. The person I dealt with was knowledgeable and friendly. The shop looked clean and professional. I would reccomend this shop based off of the experience I had today!
Took in wifes car for tire swap, oil change Aswell as airfilter replaced. I get the car back and the engine lights flashing on and off. Sounds like its miss fireing and the whole car shakes so bad when you give it any gas.. ran good before it went there. Will not be going back there.. As owner stated i needed plugs wires and front suspension. I have an invoice all that was done not even 2yrs ago.
