Boone County Family Restaurant

I am very disappointed of the way Tony handled my to go order this morning. I ordered a gyro omelette and asked that they please not over cook the hash browns I picked up my order and when I got home to eat it the hash browns were well done. I called and asked if they could remake my meal I was told only the hash browns would be remade. So I said I would bring the meal back and wanted a refund then I was told that nothing could be done until after 10 am when a manager got there but I was already in the parking lot by then. I went in and explained the issue to Toni he said not to worry about it that he would remake my meal. Less than 2 minutes later he brings it to me and apologized for the inconvenience. But he didn't know that before I took the food back I put a distinct cut in the omelette just to see if they were honest people which come to find out they most definitely are not all that man did was reheat the same meal and replaced the burnt hash browns. My family and I order from this restaurant at least twice a week and spend over $200 a month there and for Tony to flat out lie and tell me that it all new food was ridiculous but I see how he is and God only knows what and how the food there is truly pepaired. Boone County Family Restaurant has lost a very good and long time costumer. We will never step foot in any of their business again.

Had an extra half hour before I had to be somewhere so I thought I would try out this local diner for breakfast. Waitress was good. Breakfast special was not especially good. I know that diners boil the potatoes that they will use in hash browns and American fries but these were over boiled. They were almost to the mashed potato consistency. Nothing outstanding about this place. I will not be back.

We went for Friday fish fry. We had clam chowder as usual. And as always the clam chowder was outstanding. Thick and buttery. As was the fish. The only negative was they tried to give us a cup instead of a bowl. I asked to replace it with bowls, which she did without a problem. I hope this isn't the future.

Fantastic breakfasts. Great service,always friendly and never give attitude if something needs to be sent back. Can't say enough good things

There were 10 of us enjoying supper. Food and service were great!
