Boom Burger

Burger place, low on service, low on trash cans but high on filling the pit when we were ready hungry. My pup Minnie loved the fries and enjoyed a bit of my burger. They had some EV car chargers for those folks needing a charge.

Quality control? This is the second time my friend has gotten food poisoning from here--a coincidence--I think not? There seems to be an issue regarding quality control because their burgers, although excellent, have gotten my friend sick twice thus far, and he has been suffering a lot. Should you choose to dine at this establishment, be cautious and ensure your food doesn't look or taste funky.

If your looking for fresh, quality fast food, a burger & fries or poutine! from BOOMburger will hit the spot. Wait time reflects the fact that your meal is made as you order so you get the best balance between rapid service and fresh/hot meal. The poutine is actually good and I regularly pick up some lunch for myself and the family. Not the cheapest meal but value for your money for sure.

It's a pretty good burger and spot, with lots of options for your meal. I had a burger, fries and drink. It's pricy for a brown bagged meal- But I do believe the quality is there. The fries are always in an "overflow" style, which makes you feel like you received more than you paid for. Very similar to Five Guys in that way. I think for the price I'd like a more formidable bun, but it is good flavour wise.

Not 'fast food', it took a few minutes but not excessively long. I thought I would be after the lunch crowd but it was still really busy mid afternoon for a non-holiday. It was loud as well but after eating, I can understand why it is a popular place as the food was worth the price.

Went there for supper on December 3rd. We are repeat customers . We each ordered a burger, one with the works, and one with just ketchup. Buns on both were so soggy they were dripping grease. Fries tasted like cooked in old oil. Very disappointed ! Needless to say it will be some time before we return again.

The hamburgers were very very good, and the French Fries were perfect. Only 4 stars due to cost, $50 for four people sharing two and NO drinks with the meal which I find a bit excessive.

The burgers might look like they've been through the ringer, but the taste is there! Tons of options to build the burger your way and always an overflowing abundance of fries to go along with it! Located on the highway, it's a quick easy in & easy out while traveling throughout the island!

Why go straight to dessert when you can have a good burger first right next door to Cows Creamery. Their burgers were moist and beefy in flavour, the poutine had major curds made at the creamery next door, and they serve Raspberry cordials. The veggie sandwich was an head scratcher however, one would think it's a veggie patty but nah, it's simply a veggie sandwich which is essentially all the toppings you want without the patty. 'Beyond meat' might do them good. Still, don't miss Boom when you exit the roundabout.

If you've gone to a "Five Guys" before, the menu and general vibe of this place is the same. Burgers are made to order and are always fresh. I'd recommend sticking to the smallest size for Fries unless you're going to share them. Great food for the price. Dietary restrictions: All burgers are available with a lettuce "bun" upon request. Great for people on a Keto diet.
