Booker's Retreat & Mother Chukars Cafe

We only stayed there once but that was enough time for me to get to know all the people. Nice cabin's, nice food.

The cabin's at Booker's Retreat are so comfy and clean, the shower house is actually tile and marble-like being at the Ritz in the middle of paradise. The owner's are so caring, attentive and pleasant. Our group stayed in 2 cabins for 2 nights and loved it. Additionally, we ate dinners and breakfasts at Mother Chukars Café-fantastic meals! Pancakes as big as your plate and an inch thick. The burgers were incredible but the next night we found out that the pulled pork with homemade slaw were even better! Thanks for an awesome stay in Shoup, Idaho-Booker's made the visit rock!!!

The owner would not refund my money when I only stayed for 1 week after I paid for 2 weeks. I even paid in cash and she said she spent it. Nice cabins and the workers were nice but the owner or manager is not honest. It happened in September of 2013 and I have waited 6 months and she still won't pay me back. Don't stay at Bookers....

I have stayed at bookers a couple of times now and they have always been great to work with. We usually get in late at night and they always leave the cabin ready for us and let us catch up with them in the morning.
