A good, reasonably priced Indian restaurant in Richmond Hill. The food is good, naan was tasty and fresh and the service friendly. The restaurant atmosphere is calming with high ceilings and a few good pieces of art. Their butter chicken is good and the garlic naan was good! I liked bhatura which went well with butter naan. My vegetarian friend ordered Paneer Makhni cheese with rice and she loved it!
I have been craving Indian food for a while and this place hits the spot. The portions are generous and the pricing is very reasonable. We had the Tandoori Chicken, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan and Papadam. It is not everywhere you can find a good Marsala Chai. This Marsala Chai was super flavourful and I like that they let you add your own sugar because some places don’t do that. The food came pretty fast and at a very good temperature. Nothing was cold. The server was super nice and super helpful. We will be back.
Nice hot gajar ka halwa, freshly prepared. The mango paneer masala was amazing, paired with a bhatura and garlic naan. Topped it with the masala chai for a perfect dinner! Reasonable price and good service.
We tried this place when we visited Richmond Hill. I really loved the food. This restaurant had good vegetarian options. We tried the veg thali. Everything was fresh and tasty. Naan especially was awesome. Overall a good experience. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to try from.
Pleasantly surprised! I live near the area and always saw this restaurant but never gave it a chance until recently. The tandoori chicken was juicy and flavourful. So good! The beef karahi was also comforting and spiced perfectly, but the beef could have been more tender. Naan is definitely worth getting, it was very flaky and much better than store bought! Ordered delivery and was packaged well.
We really enjoy it here normally. I have been their customer since they first opened up years and years ago. Lately, I am finding their food way too spicy even when I tell them it needs to be mild for the kids. Today the vegetarian biryani rice was so spicy neither of my kids could eat it. The food is delicious and tasty. I just need them to make mild actually Mild.
I wish I could give negative rating. Worst place to eat indian food. We ordered aalo parantha and there was no potatoes in it moreover the bread dough was taste so bad like no-one can eat and it seems like the dough was prepared a week ago. I think I threw my money in garbage and i feel very bad to throw food in garbage but I don’t want to fall sick. Don’t go there guys.
We 6 of us did lunch today on Diwali. Was very happy with the food, quality and service. Server parul did her best at her own. She is very friendly and helped us making the right choice of food. The food was very delicious. We ordered tandoori chicken, chicken curry, butter chicken, dal makhni, rice naans and spent 100+. All my friends were really happy. Will be back there again soon.
The food was excellent! They had a good selection of items on the menu. Both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian. Today we chose to eat only Vegetarian - The Thali, The Aloo Tikki Chaat, Onion Kulcha were great! The Aloo paratha was lovely! Will be certainly going back. The Server PARUL was also excellent! Vegetarian options: Just lovely! Parking: Lots of free parking
Superb food, reasonable price,very quick service. This is our regular go- to place for Indian food. We always end up ordering more so that we can have some for next day as well The starters we have had Soya Chap, Samosa, Paneer Tika, Gobhi 65 are great.. Curry dishes Matar Paneer, Malai Kofta, Dal Makhani are all time favorite.
