Nice Indian restaurant The vibe inside is chill and clean ´ω` Although their lunch buffet does not have much dishes, the food and staff quality are good while the lunch price is relatively affordable around $12 per person # Indian buffet
First visit to Bombay Royale. Lunch is a buffet that lets you try different things. It was all very tasty, and at about $12, it was a very fair price. Parking: Centrally located, and right next to the very large paid parking lot.
Absolutely delicious rack of lamb and prepared to perfection. The Biryani was excellent as was the nan. I highly recommend this place.
The food was delicious and filling. One person working was able to give suggestions when I couldn't figure out what I wanted. One of our 2 entree's was spicier than the other, despite being rated the same level on the menu. Both entrees and the appetizers were delicious, and they had a large vegan selection. We're going to be going there again. Vegetarian options: Many Vegan options
Bombay Royale lunch buffet was fantastic. The meat, chickpeas and various other dishes were very flavorful. The coffee they have is strong, but not acidic or burnt. Tasted just right. And the desserts they have would suit most taste buds. And all this for $9.50! The coffee with $2. Would recommend stopping here for lunch.
Went for weekend buffet and they have definitely lost a step, or several. Buffet much smaller, no lamb or goat, tandoori chicken instead of the tandoori meat platter, food cold, half the selection. I've had takeout in recent months that corresponds to this. Bombay Royale used to be a standout, now it's just one of three meh Indian restaurants in town.
Staff is professional and courteous. We had to wait for 20 mins for a seat. It was full. Food is nice but very mild in spice level almost sweet. If you want spicy tell them ahead when you order. We all loved the hara bhara kabab as appetizer. Parottas the South Indian style ones were also very soft and nice. Overall it’s a good place to dine.
Best Indian food in the Amherst/Northampton area, but not the best when considering other locations. However, they have generous portions of food, and I really recommend their Chicken Tikka Masala! Worth trying!
I had dinner here, and their chat items are very good. But ordered Dosa, Paratha are not authentic. Their uttapam is not cooked fully.Food: 3/5
Oh Bombay Royale, you've broken my heart. For years you were my absolute favorite Indian restaurant, literally the best I've had anywhere. But recently you've been going downhill, and while I was willing to give you another chance several times, this last experience was mediocre at best, with stingy portions of naan, bland and greasy entrees that gave me a stomach ache, and a thoroughly unimpressive lassi. Sadly, I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. On another note, the folks here repeatedly mis-gendered my sister-in-law even after being corrected, so... yeah. Not the best.
