really disgusted with quality of quantity of food at this place. you pay $15 for 90% for water and not even 10% vegetable for a mix vegetable dish. taste was awe full.. these Indian restaurants popping up all over paces on bloor st are really robbing peoples.. Nan are available on grocery stores for $1.99 for 5 pack... .they dont even make own NAN. small couple of pieces of vegetable..really shame on the peoples who run this place.Better spend your money some where else... Pictures proof... What is called mix vegetable.. here is picture of what is called a mix vegetable... You are cheating client's with adding tons of water on Curries and buying Nan from grocery store for $1.99 for 5 and sell then $3 each.. that's shame....
Really enjoyed the food and will keep coming back! I especially enjoyed the biryani. It is only take-out though they have a bit of seating in the restaurant, so that’s something to keep in mind.
Tasted great! I ask them for their recommendation of non-meat rotis, got the kadai paneer roti, was literally a giant pocket of flavour. It was served very fresh and hot though there was a 10-15 minute wait and the moment I cut into it the smell of all the spice just blasted in the air 10/10 Portion wise, very big, could not finish it by myself Would recommend eating it the moment you get it, taste best steaming hot
I had a Kathi roll with butter and chicken. The taste wasn't bad. I'm not sure about the hygiene. I asked what Tikka sauce is, but the explanation didn't really help. Not very friendly service. I love Indian food, I guess that's the reason I didn't hate it.Food: 3/5
1st time trying Bombay Roti- 10/10 stars. The samosa Chaat was absolutely amazing and the Butter Chicken X-Spicy was perfect! We got the butter chicken roti. It could be that it was one young fella cooking by himself but the chicken was dry and the sauce literally tasted like the jar stuff. Not a late option I will be considering again most likely. This also happened to be an evening where we tried multiple late night eat locations. There are better options in the area TBH.
Love the food here! The flavours are delicious. Prices are reasonable. Plan to take away as they only have seating space for 2 people at most. Take cash if you can.Food: 5/5
This place has excellent flavours and their spice levels are awesome! Asking for extra spicy will truly give you some great spice to your dish that doesn't overpower the meal. The packaging for takeout is great and I haven't had a bad experience with anything on the menu yet! A go to place for roti.
Hands down to THE BEST BIRYANI in the city of Toronto. Also their new item KADAI CHICKEN !!!! Wooaaahh!!!! Just 2 mins walk from Subway station makes it easy for us not to miss this place. The best Indian eatery Toronto could ever have. Long live the Cheff long live Bombay Roti.
Excellent Butter Chicken Roti for take out. I felt bad for the guy working there. We had 6 orders and a soup and they guy put it all together by himself. Everyone we were with gave a thumbs up. Large portions. Great customer service. We were impressed. The mural on the front of the building is cool too.
