Friendly service, good flavors and decent portions. I had one of the bowls and there and it had lots of tasty additions. Good bang for your buck. There is a seating area but i chose to eat at the park. Sadly like many places their butcher department was closed due to staffing issues. Parking: Small shared parking lot out front
Unreal bowl of flavour! The crispy chickpeas were perfection. I wouldn't normally spend this much on lunch, but I'll be dreaming of this shawarma salad for the rest of my life. 10 stars!
Their burger and shawarma was delicious and fresh but the reason I’m giving 4 stars is they still haven’t opened their dine in area. They’re not located at the best street in Victoria so we had to walk about a km to find a decent place to eat our food. Also, their fries weren’t good. Their staff is nice and friendly though.
alright place, well satisfied shawarma was exactly $10 after tax, felt authentic, tasted great seating isnt open still tho and maybe not the best in terms of value compared to other food places but the chicken was great, so was worth for me
I never regret ordering from Bold Butchery. The chicken and falafel bowl is the absolute tops. Pics are of the chicken bowl with extra chicken instead of falafel on a bed of fries, cilantro hummus and pickled veg.
Really, really good. Every part of the shawarma bowl was killer… but just a tad on the pricy side $17 for this single bowl if you ask me. Still, amazing quality overall and definitely a good place to have around!
We visited here after about a year or so and was very disheartened to discover that they are no longer serving meat . We used to come here frequently while residing in Victoria and sometimes after also. But our search for halal steaks, beef and chicken pieces with bones was always incomplete without Bold Butchery. Hopefully they will regain full services soon and we will continue shopping at our favourite butchers . Thanks
RAW CHICKEN, i ordered the chicken shawarma for dinner at around 7 and to my surprise I saw some very suspiciously pink pieces in my bowl. Such a shame I had to toss it out I really enjoy the falafel bowl I guess I’ll have to stick to that
My Burger was pretty good until I got halfway through it and realized that I had eaten a few bites of completely raw hamburger meat.... It was not warm, kind of cold, and i am afraid I'm going to be puking my guts out. It's been a 1/2 an hour since I've eaten it and I'm afraid that I've eaten a ticking time bomb. Honestly I'm storta terrified,would never come here again. Only eat here if you want to be terrorized by a hamburger.
I came here once and now I eat here every day!! Best chicken shawarma in town guaranteed!! I also love the burgers and the bowls. Great food and friendly staff. They are so nice!! If you’ve never tried it, put it on your to do list! Enjoy and you’re welcome. Vegetarian options: Falafels and halloumi fries. I’m sure there’s bowls with quinoa and hummus too. Kid-friendliness: Friendly staff and nice music.
