Story

Enjoy great hospitality at this KOA located in the center of Treasure Valley. The owners take great pride in providing a full resort experience for their guests here, where RV sites feature trees, grass and concrete patios. Work out in the fitness center, splash in the indoor pool and relax in the hot tub. Families can take advantage of the rally room, perfect for reunions. Live music once a week, ice cream socials and Saturday breakfasts round out the fun. For adventure away from the campground, the staff can help you design outings that might include a Shakespeare play performance, a capital tour in Boise or a thrilling whitewater trip down the fast-dropping Payette River nearby (with stretches ideal for beginners and faster challenges for experienced rafters). You'll also find plenty of action at stock car races just a few blocks away at the Meridian Speedway.

Curbside check in was great. They will lead you to parking as well. Lots of tree encroach the campsites. We could not get into the first one assigned but they gladly put me in another. I had to back into the pull through to avoid the trees in that one too. Lots of permanent residents. Wide paved streets with level gravel pads. Convenient utility placement. Horribly hard water that smells. Not the park’s fault, that is just how the water in meridian is according to the locals.
Booked a tent spot online. Arrived to check in and the staff was a bit shocked and said they are not a tent sight. Yet offer tent sights online. Drive 500+ miles for them to give us a parking spot that we could set our tent up in gravel. Meant for a vehicle. We didn’t stay. We paid!! But decided to leave.
This KOA is amazing. The beautiful city of Meridian sprang up around this gem of a camp ground and somehow the camping vibe is strong. The staff are very helpful and nice. Every time I leave I see the iconic meridian water tower and I'm reminded of the beauty of Idaho. I love my camp site.Service: 5/5
A family friend has a year-round space, we visited them recently and found this Meridian RV park compact but clean. Tall fencing provides great privacy inside and out. All spaces seem to have small grassy space, trees and hook-ups for RV needs. Our friend told us the spaces are reasonable to rent for short or long term, with kindly staff who are helpful, and they maintain a clean park. The spaces are very close, and probably best for just a few days in my opinion. I did see extra parking spaces for vehicles, I assume for renters or visitors. If I had an RV while traveling to or through Boise I would definitely consider this park. It is quiet and still within about a quarter mile of Interstate 84, great for quick access to Boise. Great restaurants, entertainment, shopping centers, and service stations are all conveniently close by. Pretty much everything you might need, with many services walking distance away like a bowling ally and children's museum. Family fun in a five minute drive is "Roaring Springs Water Park", a great warm weather entertainment for adults and children. It's just past the Interstate, you can see it long before you get there. Hope this is helpful~
Only stayed one night but could have spent a few more nights here. Very clean and well maintained park. Only detractor was the overwhelming number of full-timers that have semi permanently established homesteads on their sites. Did not feel like we were among fellow vacationers. All things considered, this would be very suitable as a base for exploring Boise and the surrounding area.
I couldn't get a space here but I would sure try again - the place was immaculate and the staff super helpful. They called two other nearby resorts for me a found one just five miles away in the direction I was going. Everyone I met was very friendly and efficient and the paved sites looked nicely landscaped, spacious and well maintained. I will be back!
Nice and clean but it was very busy the 1 night we stayed and we were packed in pretty tight. Also, the sewer connection was too far away to connect to while also plugging into water/electric/cable but it wasn't a big deal, we just emptied the holding tanks in the morning before we left.Playground: YesPublic restrooms: YesOff-leash dog area: YesPicnic tables: YesBarbecue grills: Yes
One of the nicest KOA Journeys I have seen. Normally Journey rated KOAs are just very basic campgrounds. This one exceeds that. Paved spots with grass in between. Very well maintained park.
It’s KOA! It’s pretty nice for KOA. Missing many on site features. However walking distance to many Meridian restaurants, shops, and Speedway.
We have been to several KOA facilities. We have never been to Boise Idaho and utilized the KOA Boise meridian facility. We have used the KOA tent facilities portions of their RV park. Most times it's tolerable since they focus on RV and trailer units more than the tent site visitor. The staff here were amazingly kind and helpful. The facility is beautiful and well laid out. We made our bookings over a month ago, very excited to come to Boise, but also excited about the KOA facility as they advertised grass pad, private patio, portable grill and it seemed too good to be true... but there isn't anyone really to blame, because it's more about the KOA system than it is customer service. There are four tent spots at this KOA. They are not spacious and the grass pad is ridiculously tiny. We travel with our dog that's why we camp in a tent. We consider his needs as well as ours. Our site was next to the dumpster. The dumpster where the lid was open 90% of our stay. Between the wife and myself we closed it a dozen times. And don't even mention the abundance of flies since they enjoy being around a dumpster. The sites are not private at all, the first night a group of 11 in 4 or 5 tents were parked next to us.... And I believe you get six people and two tents Max. I'm not complaining about our neighbors again like I mentioned it's the KOA system. We choose the KOA because we feel secure in a gated facility on like State Parks that are more and more risky especially for senior citizens. We spent a good chunk of change per night to stay here
