If you consider this form of medicating, feel confident that you are not going to feel shamed or judged. Staff are very nice and so nonchalant you forget where you really are. I've felt more shame and judgment in a traditional medical clinic about my condition, this is the first time I hadn't experienced that treatment. The doctor that I have seen on each and every visit is knowledgeable, informative, compassionate and listens. It's probably the best medical experience I have ever experienced concerning my particular condition.
***ELDER PATIENTS BEWARE*** I brought an elderly relative to his appointment for a cannabis prescription. The appointment is actually done online with what we were told was a Doctor. The moment I mentioned that my relative would not be purchasing from one of the clinic's drug dealer/licensed producer, this online Doctor got very hostile and proceeded as if were in fact purchasing from their licensed producer. Briefly interjecting again, I reminded her that he was interested in his own producer; she angrily proceeded to push us off to the front staff. She did however tells us that she would discuss the matter with the front staff and that the staff would help us with the paperwork to arrange our own producer. This was a complete lie; the second part of the appointment the staff told us that the Doctor we had just seen DID NOT HAVE THE PROPER EDUCATION NOR QUALIFICATIONS to write a prescription for another producer. This was done immediately after being told that we want the prescription to apply to another producer. We walked out of the office without a prescription for a licensed producer since if my relative accepted it, he was no longer permitted to buy cannabis anywhere INCLUDING Government licensed stores. They want to lock you in, under legal threat, to their producers. It is a private business, so they technically they can refuse to give you your prescription but they are happy to run your health card through and more than happy to lie from one waiting room to the next. There is no transparency in this business; the SCAM they have going is DESPICABLE. Health Canada should be notified of this clinic. I will notify the Better Business Bureau as well as other pertinent administrative bodies. They ought to be prosecuted under the Canadian Business Corporations Act/Ontario Business Corporations Act, taken to task by Consumer Affairs for typical Bait and Switch tactics and have any license to operate revoked from Health Canada. ***BEWARE OF THIS PLACE***
Great staff, compassionate physicians. Not sure what the gentleman who spoke about not being able to switch LP's is talking about. They have always let me chose what Licensed Producer I want to use with no questions asked.
