It was good - we did like it. The sandwich bread was delicious - we did like that! I also like the vibes too. But it was $30 for two cheese sandwiches and two cappuccinos. We didn’t specify which cappuccino we wanted but weren’t asked. It was quite small so I assume it was small. Prices were $3.50 for small $3.90 large but when she typed in the cost she typed $3.99 in. We were eating when I realized everyone was paying in cash and I began to feel anxious - I’ve not been anywhere before in over ten years that did not have debit. Even a “square” little debit machine is only a couple hundred of dollars and allows for debit to be used. My spouse had to leave mid meal to go to the bank which didn’t make it the most enjoyable. No signs stating no debit and I do see on here it’s been a complaint for many years….so I’m not sure why it hasn’t been resolved. Unfortunately I won’t be going back due to the lack of debit. They were very nice, but the lack of debit isn’t great. For a pop-in lunch I can’t stop at the bank everytime and it’s 2023, most people that aren’t elderly don’t carry cash.
Great combos available, great service, great food, sandwiches are made in front of you, you must try their cookies and their tomato basil soup. We visited all the way from Niagara Falls, definitely would try again
Want a healthy, tasty place to go for lunch? This is the place! Best sandwich/soup combos, excellent fancy coffees and teas, and, did I mention DECADENT desserts made from scratch?! This is THE spot to visit morning ´t’il early afternoon. Only down, it is cash only. But don’t let that stop you from going.
We stopped to eat enroute from Cayuga to Montreal at Boboli Cafe in Brockville Ont. We had a Chicken Curry and Hamsty and Cheese on Dark Rye with Carrot Ginger Soup. The staff were attentive, the space cozy and food fresh/tasty. We ate on the outdoor space to enjoy the rustic period piece buildings. A calm and relaxing space to dine.
Nice staffs, a cozy place to stay, and the soup and pies are just too delicious.
Delicious! Had a curried chicken sandwich on French bread and a super tasty bowl of tomato roasted red pepper soup. Cup of coffee and a glass of water to wash it down. Affordable. Friendly. Vintage 1965 Vespa scooter in the window. Now a downtown favorite in Brockville for me.
Highly recommend. I had the curry chicken sandwich, and it was the BEST sandwich I've had in recent memory, just delicious. The cappuccino was great and the deep dish apple pie was fantastic! Kathy is delightful and the place is super cute and funky. What's not to love? Hands down, the best food in Brockville. Check it out.
Absolutely delicious curried chicken sandwich on dark rye today paired with a curried vegetable soup. Unbelievable! And the price! Double whammy. Visit this place when you're in Brockville!
Amazing soups and sandwiches. Great low key relaxing atmosphere and the owner Kathy is so pleasant. Would recommend to anyone.
I stopped here for lunch and I was so happy that all their foods are made in house and are homemade. I had their soup of the day, sweet potato peanut and a half roast beef sandwich. Just wow. The quality is phenomenal! People on here who are complaining about the price, listen, you get what you pay for. Higher prices equates to higher quality that you put into your gullet. Definitely recommend for anyone who likes healthy good quality foods.
