We have been looking for good sushi in the Mimico areas for awhile. We came here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. There were plenty of free parking on Lakeshore. I was surprised they offered lunch specials on weekends, we ordered the Spicy rolls combo from the lunch specials and an extra of Dani roll. The rolls were made fresh, the seaweeds were crispy, salmon and tuna were fresh. The owners offered us free appetizers before our sushi rolls arrived. I would totally come back again in the future.
Quiet and Cozy spot perfect for a chill night. We got a green tea as soon as we sat down. The sushi was fresh and delicious and rolled to perfection. The service was amazing and the owners were very kind and friendly. They also have a great menu with lots of options! Will definitely go back.
I really enjoyed this place. The portions were really good and so were the prices. I felt like it was more authentic than some places. Its good to be able to see the chef doing the work just behind you and you can really taste the difference compared to all those buffet sushi places!
This is hands down the best sushi place in Toronto! I don’t understand why it doesn’t have a perfect 5 stars out of 5. This is the only place we go to when we crave sushi. There have been some times when we’ve had to try different sushi places just because Dani Sushi was closed, and truly nothing compares. I mean their sushi is so good that anything else just doesn’t even come close, it’s a waste to go anywhere else. The owners are amazing - so friendly, humble and genuinely nice people. The service is exceptional - quick, and I don’t even need to the mention the food - always perfect. We’ve been coming here for 3 years now and I will never eat sushi from any place else. Obviously highly highly recommend!
Such a great little place . Sushi pieces are really well priced compared to some other establishments for 2 pieces . Lots of options, food is very fresh and tasty. Their rolls aren't too big , which I like to just pop it in your mouth. Very very friendly owners ! Very cute family operated little restaurant, always clean.
Excellent Sushi, it's mid-tier priced. Rice is always fresh and nicely formed. not too sticky or hard The fish is very fresh out of all the times I've been there. You can tell the sushi chef cares about the food. I've tried other sushi restaurants near this location and they don't come close in quality. The only con is that the restaurant is small so it only seats a few. It's a great place for take out or a quick stop to dine-in.
I think i find out my best sushi place in Long Branch. My sister loves this place and recommend me to try. I order Spicy Scallops, Spicy Tuna, and vegetables tempura. Everything is very delicious. Highly recommend
I ordered the tuna poke bowl and miso soup and both were delicious! Poke bowl tasted amazing and had lots of toppings. The prices are very reasonable and the woman who helped me was also very kind.
Dani Sushi is a sushi place I'd definitely recommend to anyone. The owners were very friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, the food was great and definitely worth the price paid for it. The gave me my roll plated to resemble a turtle, and it tasted incredible. The 80s ballads played really sold me over.
