We loved our stay here. The staff were so cheerful and helpful. The room was perfect. So clean we took our shoes off at the door! I loved the nautical quilts and the room decor. From the parking lot, there are scenic paths along the waterfront, with charming benches strategically placed for you to savor the view. My only issue was I left too early to enjoy a slice of home made cheesecake!
Their coleslaw is fantastic. And their fries are fresh cut, they are pretty good too. But lord stay away from the burgers. I say "if your not going to pack your own patties, stay out of the burger game." They literally taste like only the preservatives and gross grease & because of that I spent the night ralfing it up. I would only ever order the coleslaw from there in the future. They do also have great baked goods. We got cookies and pie. And I can deny, they were fantastic! So if you happen to stop on your way by, grab a cookie, some pie & an order of slaw and run, run, run! Rooms: Clean enough if your in a pinch with more people than can comfortably sleep in a car. I will just stay in my car next time! Nearby activities: Not much to speak of. There can be done some fishing nearby. There is also a trading post across the street. Safety: About as safe as any place with a transcontinental highway full of terrible drivers right out front. Walkability: Well, if you have 2 legs and a heart beat, you can walk every road in town in about 15mins... walkable enough? Food & drinks: Their coleslaw is fantastic. Best place to eat ! The food it very high quality and the portion size is very generous! If you are in Bruce mines you definitely should eat here ! They have a great history and the service is phenomenal. The waitress care and they try hard to please the customers! The cooks are super professional and they host a very large menu selection.! I love bobbers !
My family of 8 stopped in for a quick lunch. The food was tasty, except for the soup. But the waitress quickly removed the charge for the soup. Great Service, Great Food, and conveniently located right off the hwy.Service: 5/5
Place was packed, line up to eat and to pay... and it was all handled with grace and humour. As a customer, I know if a place is packed... there is a reason. I'm glad we toughed out the wait. It was worth it. If you're driving through, stop. The desserts alone are worth it.
I was passing through town on my way back to Alberta. Started feeling hungry for a quick meal. Thankfully I was able to take my meal out as I needed to get back on the road again. The Bacon Cheeseburger with the works kept me going long into the night. Friendly staff and service. Will definitely come again when passing through.Service: 4/5
A very pleasant little restaurant with reasonably priced meals and friendly service. I asked if i could have three poached eggs on my poutine and they were very accommodating! I’ll be eating there several times during my vacation in Bruce Mines!
Friendly staff. An excellent value. Good sized portions at a reasonable price. Rustic decor. Patio available. Look out over the historic area and waters of Bruce Mines, while enjoying a great homestyle meal. Noteworthy details: Bruce Mines is a lovely full service community with ample boating and fishing areas. Bobbers is central to all amenities.
Located perfectly in a beautiful quaint town with very friendly folk. The hotel is exactly what a person needs after a long drive. Airconditioning, a clean room. Updated to it's surroundings that makes it a nice touch. Clean bathroom with outstanding water pressure big deal to me I know it's weird. Restaurant attached that offers to your liking. I stay here every time I travel through, and always will.
Only stopped at the restaurant, can't rate the motel. Not a lot of choices in the region, but it does the job. Staff was friendly, service relatively fast we were kinda late, so the place was almost empty. Large portions, cheap prices. Nothing fancy, but quite good for a quick stop when you don't want more fast food.Service: 4/5
