Bob's Chowder Bar

Bob stopped by our table and made our night! Lit the heater above our table for outside seating, provided blankets as well. Well informed about the area, and shared that knowledge with us. Thanks for a great dining experience, after days on the road it was needed. Stay safe!

We had clam chowder, fish and chips, lobster mac and cheese. Food was OK. Service was friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Because of Covid-19, indoor seating was limited. Because of the weather, outdoor seating was not being used.

Excellent service and tasty food. They have great gluten-free fish & chips, which is not easy to find. And their chicken strips are clearly hand-breaded. They even have gluten-free chocolate torte! Would definitely stop here again when in the area.

OMG .. this place is great! .. Chowder is in the name, so of course we had the Chowder Sampler! .. 4 different kinds of chowder .. the cream based chowders are the best! Although they are all great .. the New England Clam Chowder and the Salmon Chowder are awesome! Served with crustini . I'm going back for sure!

Great service, fast friendly staff. Chowder was excellent. We got Togo and they bright our order out to the car for us, which was very nice so we did not have to wait in the cold. Would definitely go back. Prices are fair.
