Great spot in Wakefield with amazing coffee! I had an iced latte and it was perfect.. on our table we ordered cortado and cappuccino also great! Baked goodies are so so.. I enjoyed the lemon cranberry muffin but the almond croissant wasn’t a hit.. seating is plenty and parking is so easy at their lot!
Such a great new spot in one of my favorite little road trips from Ottawa. Food was perfect, great selection of beers, seltzers, great patio and will be coming back to try the rest of the menu. Great stop for cyclists as well!
Was very pleasantly surprised to try out the dinner menu at Bluebarn. Big fans of the coffee but was not expecting the food to be that good. Flavours and quality were definitely there and was even more surprised to feel full after having 3 of their sharing plates charcuterie board is a must. The pork belly and scallops and Brussels sprouts are a must
good coffee. nice place. not many options for food though but their berry cupcake was good. Too bad it doesnt have a water view
Visited on a Tuesday for breakfast and a coffee. My sister had a filter and a croissant, I had a matcha latte and the vegan quesadilla. Front counter service was not the friendliest, but the food and drink quality was excellent. Matcha was properly made and the quesadilla was excellent and made with love.
Unlike the city, locals don't just go for coffee but also for connection and community. When this spot first opened I figured it would end up catering most to tourists as the vibe felt a bit 'chilly' when I first walked in as the girl at the counter was a bit cold. But when the other village coffee shop closed for a long period, we all started gravitating to Bluebarn and I have to say that the staff has really impressed me, particularly Jon the friendly outgoing barista. Within 2 visits they knew my name and what I wanted to order which was so impressive that I decided to start bringing my clients in for meetings. There's also the other lady in the kitchen who is always so warm and friendly and takes the time to come out and say hi which makes us feel like home. The coffee is also good but the service has been exceptional. While I still have no idea who the owner is, at least they hire well. PS. Bring in some gluten free bread for sandwiches and baked goods please!
Had a miscommunication about a breakfast sandwich order when it came out I clarified that I'd wanted two not just one, they gave us a second one no charge! And the breakfast sandwiches were excellent! I had a black filter coffee I think it was a medium roast, but it was superb, and my partner had a flat white, she said it was excellent
Hey Bluebarn staff, I don’t normally write reviews but I just had to say something, today around 12:00pm I witnessed the most professional customer service. The Barista tried to deal with the customers issue. But the customer simply wasn’t having it, the barista remains calm and tried to help as best as they could. Nice to see that you have great lattes, delicious pastries and great services.
I was so surprised and stunned by the beauty and the taste of this soup ! Amazingly price , perfect proportion and it hit the tummy sooooo well !Food: 5/5
it’s a lovely place, food and coffee is decent when they actually have the food. the reason i’m giving 2 stars is the quality of customer care is beyond awful. the blonde girls who work there look like they wanna die. couldn’t be more unbothered about you or what you want to order. i reckon if they got new staff who actually cared the place would improve a lot, just some constructive criticism.
