Delicious drinks and such a cool selection. We did the elevated experience for $21 for 3 mini drinks. They were very small like 2-3 sips, wonderfully crafted but not spirit forward. Love the atmosphere and our bartender was very helpful in guiding us through all the food and drink options. Outside seating with fire places or keep it simple and stay inside. There are also a lot of mixers and fun items to purchase for gifts. No wait and lots of seating options.
SPIRIT FORWARD Beautiful atmosphere and outdoor seating options available. Stopped by for a quick cocktail. We ordered the “pepper-pickle Bloody Mary” and “one night in Oaxaca”. The presentation was beautiful but we couldn’t finish them. The drinks were both very spirit forward and I couldn’t taste the Bloody Mary mix. I would come back but ask for the liquor on the side next time.
Atmosphere was good overall. Wish we were here in the summer when we could venture to sit outside although they do offer year round outside seating with a fire pit table option… or heater type thing. Biggest negative for me as a hard alcohol drinker, I did not enjoy the artificial taste of a lot of the drinks. I prefer fresh lime, etc whereas the taste of the “tasting flight” we had were a lot of mixer type drinks. If you aren’t used to hard alcohol, I’m sure the mixed drinks will be delicious. The drinks were stiff though which is always a bonus. However, if you are used to hard alcohol fresh drinks then this leaves something to be desired. Food was decent for the price and service was decent as well.
Did an impromptu trip to Leavenworth with the boyfriend and stopped at Blue Spirits to kick off the night. We only had a few espresso martinis but had I not been starving I’d probably have to just stayed there and had a liquid dinner for the rest of the night. The martinis were SOOOOOOO GOOD and flavorful. It was his first time trying one and he was also obsessed. The location is convenient and parking is easy. It’s defrosted super well and there is enough inside and outside with fires seating to accommodate a bigger crowd. We will definitely be going back to try their tasting options.
We were denied service because my friend apparently has a fake ID. We are a group of 29-31 year olds who have been bar hopping on our day off. His ID was an older issue so looked slightly different or something I guess. We tried to get the manager out, who also "confirmed" the id was fake but she wouldnt come out because she wasn't on the clock. The manager eventually came out after our nicer friend kept asking to talk to her. Still denied us because she said she had one cocktail. Not worth going into too much detail but it was mind blowing to be treated like this. We were all denied service, not that we wanted to after that incident. Critical thinking went out the window that night.
Honestly, this place superceded my expectations big time! No offense, I just stupidly assumed it would only have beer because it's basically located in little Germany. However, I was wrong and I'll gladly own up to my ignorance! Amazing cocktails. Lemonade stand and Acers old fashioned were fantastic.
Blue Spirits makes good drinks. The cocktail menu has a wide variety, and regardless of if you like your drinks sweet or want something more spirit forward you can find something. However, the real secret is how good the food is. The chef knows his stuff, the menu changes seasonally, and I've never had something I didn't love. If you going for the drinks, make sure you have room to eat as well or you're missing out.
Lots of great flavors and things to try. Great relaxing environment and awesome staff. Plenty to look at and very unique. :
Unlike any other place in this Bavarian Village! You’ve got to try their cocktails and food!!! Friendly staff and a really great atmosphere. The rear, outdoor lounge area is one of my favorite details about this establishment. Also, I enjoy the live music on Friday and Saturday nights!
This place has a great selection of whiskey and other drinks! Got to sample a few differnt whiskeys, ended up buying a bottle of the Cherry Whiskey very smooth and the flavor is amazing. Had a great time with the family its a great place to relax and have a few drinks. Will for sure be back in the future.
