Story

Blue Sky Corporation was founded in 1999, starting out as a small family-run business, specializing in grocery retail and Asian cuisine. By 2007, Blue Sky had opened their first supermarket in North York, inspired by the growing diversity in Canada, and offered a large range of products needed for ethnic cuisines.
Blue Sky North York had found great success and opened their second store in the City of Pickering. To satisfy the increasing demand for Asian groceries, Blue Sky Pickering carries an even broader selection of Asian groceries.

There were many places that offer ethnic groceries, but what had set Blue Sky above the rest is their commitment to provide comfort to new Canadians, allowing them to feel at home even half way across the world.

Blue sky is a great supermarket. Every section of this store is so amazingly diverse with immense variety. It’s unreal sometimes not to go crazy and feel excited/ overwhelmed with all the product.nnTheir seafood section is one of the freshest I’ve been too, they have a halal section for meat as well.nnLove shopping here. Always over spending lol
Fresh Variety of Global Foods. Multicultural prices are decently priced.nI will not shop anywhere else after this experience.nThe turkey neck i bought was rotten ofter 2 days though, so be aware that you may have to shop and eat certain items the same day.nI will continue to shop at my local butcher shop after this meat experience and not too too trust the meat at Blue Sky Supermarket.
Unlike other supermarkets, THIS particular supermarket in Pickering keeps their green coconuts REFRIGERATED, which actually makes them fresher than anywhere else in probably all of Durham. However, sometimes they don't sell fast enough and turn brownish. Nevertheless, it's still my number one spot for green coconuts while they're still green and sometimes the hot Chinese food too from the food counter when I don't cook at home
I got a few small-medium sushi platters for a gathering! The sushi was great, no one believed it was from a grocery store! Price was reasonable too!nCan’t comment on anything else though, but I’ll come back to do some regular shopping!
New here - need to discover the big markets... one at a time - this one is definitely a good one to know - you'll need quite a few visits to get a handle on the huge incredible selection... convenient location - friendly staff - good prices - what's there not to like?nnSome new offerings that I've never seen before at very good prices. Incredible takeout freshly cooked food at very attractive prices!
