Beautiful atmosphere! We had trouble deciding whether to eat inside or outside because both options looked amazing. The Chicken Little sandwich was absolutely amazing - definitely ranks among some of my top chicken sandwiches. The chicken was juicy and flavourful, and complimented the bun and toppings really well. The Smash Burgers, Vegan Tacos, fries, and cheddar soup were good but nothing exceptional. Service was unfortunately a bit uncomfortably long, thus 4 stars instead of 5.
The food was great. Had the blackened chicken which was good. What was not was the 2.5 hours it took to get our food. My food arrived 15 minutes after everyone else at my table. Then the waiter didn't come up to offer a box to pick up the food or pay the bills. After waiting another 30 minutes, I gave up and had to find my waiter. It was a Monday. Brutal. 4 hours in the restaurant...
Great selection of local drinks. Food is fair at best. I wouldn't recommend as an actual restaurant destination - more of a watering hole / hangout. Great outdoor vibe with live music. Go enjoy an evening in one of the nicest outdoor venues in NS!
As soon as you walk in you will feel the laid back and cool vibes. You’ll also smell the aromas of the incredible food you’re about to eat! They were also very good at handling dietary needs and satisfying a variety of pallets and requests. We enjoyed lunch and also the VIP tour and tasting. Highly recommend!! The highlight of our experience has to be Chloe. Her position is a bartender but she is so much more. She was our hostess with the mostest, our server, our bartender and also our VIP tasting and tour guide! The passion she exudes and knowledge of the business she possesses was inspiring. If you’re looking for someone to promote internally who lives and breathes all that this business is about - promote Chloe. She’s an impressive employee. She even specialized our flights as part of the tasting tour - chosen based on her knowledge and vibe with each of us and bang on. And even have us smaller samples of items we planned to purchase at the store. The food - fantastic! The Cajun blackened chicken was to die for I’m still alive thankfully and the truffle fries - you must get these!!! Beautifully seasoned and worth the calories haha The cocktails have clever names and taste amazing. The environment itself is a vibe - the food truck inside and the fun lighting and activities year long games including washer toss and sand bags inside on Astro turf and outside in the beer garden in the summer with live music on Saturday evenings! We will be back to enjoy that next time. We also want to give a should it to the Manager, Steph. You can tell that she’s respected by her employees and runs a fun ship! Everyone truly seemed to be enjoying their work. Steph made sure to check in with us a couple of times and really made us feel like VIPs. Thank you! See you all again soon.

My family took me here for a surprise dinner for my 30th birthday yesterday, July 2. There was a little mix up with the reservation my mom had made and they didn’t make note of it, but they got the group seated outside before my sister and I arrived. The waitress - I didn’t get her name but she was awesome - gave us complementary nachos for the mix up. The atmosphere was great and they have a beautiful outdoor seating area. The portions are quite large and the food was delicious. This was my first time here but I would definitely go back! Vegetarian options: Was able to request no meat on nachos Parking: There’s a parking lot beside the building with maybe around 20 spots. Thankfully there is parking on the side of the road but if they’re busy you might have to park down the road further. Kid-friendliness: Outdoor area seems to be kid friendly
My first time at Blue Lobster, definitely will be back! Had a Caesar or a few and they were awesome, possibly the best in the county. Had the chicken burger can't remember the name exactly but it was very good, with a side Caesar, which didn't have much flavour but that's fine. We then moved outside and the atmosphere was awesome. Service was top notch, a bit of wait for the food but they were full house, and even still the server was around consistently to top up drinks and check in on us. Can't wait to go back!
First, I have to say the best part of our visit to blue lobster was the staff. They all work together to make sure their guests get the best service and experience. We had 4 different servers at our table and they were all incredible. Knowledgeable, prompt, funny and accommodating. The tuna tartare was perfectly done, the mussels are the best mussels I’ve had in a restaurant in Nova Scotia. And the spicy margarita that isn’t on the menu which they happily whipped up for us was amazing. If you like spice they will gladly accommodate you. They also recommended backstage brewery and their ghost pepper beer. It was so nice to see them promote another local company. So after we left we went and tried a flight, solid recommendation.
It was a very busy evening when we got there . It was about 15 mins until we got a table so we sat on one of their sofas until then . Seafood chowder was very good and burger my wife had was also delicious. Service was ok . I would definitely recommend it to anyoneFood: 5/5
