Founded in 2016 by Pam Martin, Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures is a stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) company with a deep-rooted love for the ocean. This passion fuels our mission to connect people with the sea through awe-inspiring SUP experiences.

Our adventures are designed not only to thrill but also to foster personal growth and build confidence in mental and physical abilities. We believe in empowering a passionate, positive, and supportive community of paddlers, creating a space where horizons expand and bonds between individuals, communities, and the oceans are strengthened.

Pam's journey with paddleboarding began in 2010 and it was love at first paddle. Today, she is a certified Paddle Canada SUP Basic & Advanced Flatwater Instructor and a Coastal Touring 1 Instructor. A graduate in Marine Biology from the University of Guelph and Commercial Photography from Sheridan College, Pam's aquatic pursuits have spanned from childhood canoeing and competitive sailing to sprint canoe/kayak racing and long-distance Outrigger Canoe racing. These experiences culminated in her discovery and enduring love for SUP.

Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures is proud to be a global leader for the Girls on Boards program, providing young girls with opportunities to learn and experience various board sports. We're also a significant sponsor of Oceans Week Victoria, an initiative that fosters community engagement and supports ocean-inspired events on southern Vancouver Island.

Safety, technical skills, and fun form the core of our approach, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for all participants. Our goal extends beyond sharing a love for paddling; we strive to foster connections between people and the sea through ocean literacy.

Our commitment to causes aligned with our values manifests in various ways:

Pam serves on the organizing committee for Oceans Week Victoria, dedicating time, donations, and staff to the event.

As a licensed provider for Girls On Boards, Pam enables young girls to experience paddleboarding for free.

We sponsor a tank at the Ucluelet Aquarium and have sponsored two sea turtles through Tortuga Creative.

We participate in citizen science projects that benefit the oceans.

We offer free events like social paddles to foster community in an affordable way.

At Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures, we're more than just a SUP company - we're a community of ocean lovers dedicated to preserving and sharing the magic of the sea.

I am new to Stand Up Paddling boarding and wanted to learn the correct techniques right from the start. Pam agreed to meet at a lake, versus her normal training location, so that I could be fearless in trying all the skills she shared. Pam broke down each part of the paddle stroke in a way that I could easily adopt. I went from feeling comfortable on my board to being confident to adjust my feet up and down the board, use my core for the paddle stroke, and work on weight distribution to help me paddle in a straight line in different wind conditions. IT WAS REMARKABLE how much I learned and have already applied. Pam is the go-to person if you want to learn how to SUP or to expand on the skills you already have. I will be booking more lessons as I continue to SUP. Thanks Pam for your amazing teaching style and the wealth of skills that you shared.
My wife and I went paddleboarding with Pam last week in Sidney BC. Pam took us on a tour of Gulf Islands national park reserve and it was an amazing experience with lots of marine life, wish I brought my camera. If you are unsure of whether you should go paddleboarding when you are in Victoria or the greater Victoria region. I would highly recommend going with Pam you won't be sorry.
Just back from a 3-day SUP adventure in the Gulf Islands with Pam and team and it was amazing. Pam was the perfect guide and teacher. I learned a ton, improved my skills and had a great time doing it. If you would like to learn more/do more on a SUP I highly recommend Blue Jellyfish SUP Adventures.
Pam is an incredibly skilled instructor and just an overall lovely human being. You will learn so much from her in short time and she has endless patience. I highly recommend learning to SUP with her or taking a tour. You won't be disappointed!
Wonderful private lesson for two shaky old newbies! Pam gauged her pace so that we both felt comfortable and had fun!
Good service ce. Pleasant paddling spot.
