If you’re looking for a great Thai restaurant in Central Massachusetts, be sure to eat at the Blue Elephant. This was a great find! Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has umbrellas to block the sun. I ordered drunken noodle… Amazing quality and just the right portion. It came with lots of veggies. Staff are great. I hope to return when I’m back in the area.
The atmosphere was absolutely lovely! I loved the decor and the overall atmosphere it was very calming. My friend and I both had some tea to really relax but that all changed when the food came. THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD ALMOST TOO GOOD TO BELIEVE! Me and my friend never had Thai food so this was not only new but amazing! We ordered the elephant sampler and the set up was very beautiful with a little flower it was almost too pretty to touch but my God once we ate it with the different sauces we were already sold he loved the soy sauce and I was crazy over the peanut sauce. I had the Kao Soy tofu noodles and the broth was so creamy and not to sweet but just enough leaving me wanting more. The tofu was crispy on the outside but on the inside it was very soft the texture reminded me of a toasted marshmallow. They were like little clouds in my mouth. My friend had the chicken drunken noodles and he immediately took pictures and looked at me shocked after one bite. He ate the entire plate and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had to take mine home to enjoy later. After it all we wanted some desserts and got the Thai custard. This custard was so good I had to call my mom after the meal and tell her about the place. The staff was also so very sweet, me and my friend felt so welcomed and even though they were closing they let us enjoy our meal and didn't mind us taking our time which we were very thankful for! All and all this is a hidden gem and me and my friend will absolutely be coming back here. Now that my family is aware of this place no doubt will they check the place out with intrest! Also I apologize for the long review this is my first and I only wrote it because this place was too good to not share.
We have been to the place several times and the food is amazing. They are always fast and attentive and the ambiance inside is great. Highly recommendedFood: 5/5
Taste wise its okayish resturant. But some of the staff were rude while serving. We have arrived around 8:50 pm closing time is 9:30 pm. We understand they are in hurry to close but we didnt even sat they already came and asked us to order 3-4 times.
All I can say is WOW! This place is absolutely amazing. Everything from the bartender, the appetizers, the main course, and the rest of the staff. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. And my pad thai no peanuts was out of this world Food: 5/5
Excellent Thai food - a big step above the usual Thai joint, but still very fairly priced. The place is v nice with a nice long bar that is set up for eating as well as tables - food elegantly presented and very flavorful; just the right amount of heat - accurately indicated on the menu. Highly recommended by a Thai food aficionado that has eaten in Bangkok too
I did some work in the kitchen here this evening. First of all, the kitchen was very clean and well kept. Second, the people who work here and the owners are super nice people. They took very good care of me while I was there working. Third, they sent me home with some food and it was so good. The drunken noodle and pad Thai are both so good, the wonton soup was insanely good. I really appreciate the hospitality here and I will most definitely be back for a meal. Parking: Plenty of parking. Big lot.
We've been to this restaurant a couple of times previously, and we were always happy with the food and service. Unfortunately, tonight we did not have a good experience. I called several hours ahead of time to make a reservation for 4 people, and I requested a specific semi-circular table in the back on the left side. No problem! However, when the 4 of us arrived, there was already a party of 4 sitting at that table. We were taken to a different table, a smaller square table in the middle of the room. I told the waitress that I had reserved the semi-circular table, but she said "they are already sitting there." When I noticed another, larger semi-circular table on the other side of the room that was empty, I asked if we could sit there. "No," I was told. "That table is for 6." OK, so we sat down at the smaller table where she insisted we sit. We ordered soup and our entrees, and the waitress asked if we wanted all of the food to be brought out at the same time. We said "no," that we wanted the soup first and main courses afterwards. Our soup arrived at the same time, and was delicious. After we finished, two of our main courses were brought out together. We waited patiently for the other two people in our group to be served before starting to eat. After 10 minutes, our entrees were getting cold, and we asked what happened to the other 2 entrees. We were told that there was a mix-up, and that the other orders had just been placed. So the two of us who had food decided not to wait any longer, and we ate our food. The yellow curry with chicken was mediocre. Lots of sauce, very few thin slivers of chicken, and not many vegetables. Very unsatisfying. Needless to say, we were finished before the other 2 people in our party were served their main courses. The staff did not apologize or offer to give us a free dessert or to take something off the bill, which is what other restaurants have done when mix-ups have occurred. Oh, and by the way, the larger semi-circular table where they did not want us to sit remained empty for the entire time we were there.
I ordered 1 hr before for pick up. Received my order 26 minutes late. Did not tip and expressed my dissatisfaction and was told sorry then "the kitchen makes food when they do". Food is awesome. However, customer service needs improvement.
The food here is excellent, everyone is really friendly, place is clean and it has a really nice bar. They did a great job of setting up the menu for people that aren't used of ordering Tai . I go often, totally addicted to the yum yum soup. Enjoy! Kid-friendliness: The people that work there are really fun and always seem to be in a good mood Parking: Has a fairly big parking lot never have a problem with parking.
