A true feat of a park - really this is a hybrid park, a combination of a DIY and a professionally crafted skatepark. One of the best aspects of the park is the fact that it’s got both smooth and gritty surfaces, preparing any skater for either street or park skating. The banks between levels are one of the most unique features I’ve seen, and its sprawling nature makes plenty of room for all. With everything from massive transition to small boxes and a flatbar to learn tricks on, this park provides what’s necessary for most skaters to have fun. My favorite features were the spine, bump to rails, and the mouth gap in the tall quarter. It got crowded with some beginner locals on bikes, but everyone was fair and considerate. Just make sure you have your eye on cracks at this park - the crust can bite.
A great place for a beginner skater or expert shredder! The ramps could be larger though as there is plenty of space for action and entertainment.
Park is very outdated. Albany can and should do much better. Double the size of it, and make it a real skate park.

great park for skaters at any level. locals put in work and recently installed a new ledge, rail, and rainbow rail. a lot of variety to skate here and plenty of space
My son loves this place. It's a pretty large park with lots obstacles. More street obstacles than most parks. Good vibes from other skaters as well.

4 entire tennis courts and endless banks. This is a great skatepark. They even have lights which is unheard of in this state. There are plenty of cracks and rough ground which is standard for new york skateboarding, so be mindful. The features are all well built and there seems to be plenty of expanding going on for the quarter pipes. If you have a small child, please be cautious of some of the older or faster riders in the park, as they maneuver suddenly and at high speeds. There was no litter and very minimal rocks on the ground throughout the park.
My son's love it.
Loved it, went with a friend to ride our bikes, 2 full sized basketball courts. Small amount of wear on equipment but otherwise unnoticeable. Additional tennis courts too. Love the people there and will be returning!
