It looks like a simple place, but it's anything but. The chicken francaise was the best chicken with pasta dish I ever had. Even their salad was well-presented, and the housemade ranch dressing was just as yummy as the waitress suggested. The French onion soup was tasty as well as the fried calamari. Their wine was delicious. Staff was friendly. And I loved the seating options. You could sit in a booth or a table. We sat by the fireplace. I love how homey yet put together the place is. I'd recommend to anyone who needs a good spot to eat!
Everything was wonderful! Started with the beef tips, so tender and delicious. Lasagna was very good. The carrot cake was the best I have ever had. Service was on point.Food: 5/5
Ute place and delicious food! We've had pizza and dinners. Our favorites ate chickenpox and chicken François. The blooming onion is yummy too! Kid-friendliness: Chicken tenders and fries were good! Parking: There are a few spots in the front
No blooming onion!? Friendly but SLOW service! Sat for some time with empty glasses. Ordered Chicken Francanise, if you like eating lemon juice, this is for you, because that's you'll taste! Took forever to get the bill!! I guess they thought if we sat there long enough we would order dessert?? They asked us 3 times
I am a local resident and absolutely love this place. My wife and I try to have dinner here once per week. The food is outstanding and so is the service. I highly recommend a visit and bring your appetite!Food: 5/5
The summary: I would go again, but only if someone was paying for me. I would not take someone here nor recommend it to others. I went here with my parents for dinner. It's a pretty small place, but it has a nice cozy feel. It's homey as well, with a casual feel to it. The staff were all very pleasant and the menu, while not expansive, was well rounded. As an appetizer I ordered their easy muscles in scampi sauce. The muscles themselves were quite fresh and tasty, though I was less enthused with the sauce itself. The salad bar was well maintained and had fresh ingredients, but their homemade italian was more oil than anything else. For dinner I had one of their pork milanesesp?, my mother had their fettucine alfredo with shrimp, and my father had Eve's Chicken. My father stated his dish was "good" and left it at that. My mother was disappointed in her dish, saying "the shrimp were tiny... the fettucine was undercooked for my taste, and the sauce was out of a jar". I, for my part, was not a fan of my dish. The pork was cooked very well but the breading was unflavored, it seemed. Having a squeeze of lemon on top was not enough to make it interesting to my taste buds. The pasta with red sauce I got as my side was similarly bland, though the carrots for my vegetable were quite tasty. This all being said, the bill totaled $89.00 for the three of us and my one dessert. The price, coupled with the well-made but incredibly boring dishes is why I only gave it three stars.
Went on a spur of the moment dinner date with the wife. It was cozy and the food was very goodFood: 5/5
Fabulous Chicken Francais dinner to go!! Highly recommend this dish!
Take out is always good. Great pizza. Well seasoned food.
Went last night during our stay in the area. Small but quaint restaurant. I recommend calling ahead and reserving a table because it fills quickly. We wanted to order their namesake "Blooming Onion" But it wasn't available because of supply problems due to everything going on in the world today. But I'm sure if they had it, it would've been good... just going by the quality of the rest of our meal. I went for something I've never had before, the Jaeger schnitzel. Now, I'll be totally honest. I wish I could've taken a hundred plates of that home with me. It was the most tender and flavorful meat I've ever had along with that gravy and would make the two hour drive again just for that!!!! The homemade noodles that were served with it were amazing as well and served with fresh well prepared and not overcooked green beans. Also took a pizza to go for the kids and that was very good as well! Service and prices were spot on. For the caliber of food and portion sizes it was amazing.
