Blind River Home Hardware Building Centre

The staff in the building section were somewhat helpful but would talk down to me trying to intimate by talking to other staff members making fun of me. In the lumber yard I was bullied and harassed by a staff member. I was planning on getting my building supplies at this building centre but after this experience I will go elsewhere.

Always enjoy my time at the store, the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. They have a great selection and inventory also. I always leave with the RIGHT product for the job.

Went to get 3 2x4. Got a ticket at one counter and had to go to another to pay for it which was fine. When I got in line at the lumber yard to get my 3 pieces of lumber I was waiting for my turn to be served. There was 1 client who had a big order and the second client was being served as well. Had to back up and let the 2 nd client out as the 1 st client wasn’t done yet. Now no one was being because they were all helping the 1 st client. Waited about 25 minutes until I saw the client behind me being serve. I then asked why was he being served first and was told his order was quick and easy. Not sure what is difficult about 3 pieces of lumber!! Client service should based on who got there first and not if you know the client! Guess my time is not important to this business! Or whether you are male or female as it seemed like the male’s time was more important! Not going there again!

Friendly staff, small town store with a wide selection and a willingness to take time and help. If they don't have it they seem open to getting it. Every time we are in staff make eye contact, say hello, and genuinely care to help us find a solution.

This is absolutely the best place in the area to get hardware, paint, and building materials. The staff in this store have always been friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they treat you like your patronage matters. My experience with the Rona and Soo Mill in Elliot Lake have never been as pleasant as with Blind River Home Hardware. I'll NEVER go to the Elliot Lake Rona again and have encouraged everyone I know to head to Blind River if they need goods from a building supply center.

Awesome place for everything you need to repair, renovate or just decorate your home. The staff are very helpful. The knowledge they have will always steer you in the right direction. I know anything I need, they will help me with their professional additude and abilities.
