Really enjoyed my experience here. The server was engaging and friendly. Knowledgeable about the food that was being served and the atmosphere was very nice. Place was clean and very organized. The food was very tasty and enjoyable. Food portion was good for price. Gluten free options available and good variety to choose from. Recommended this place to anyone. Also view is beautiful and would make a nice date night place to go.
Our visit to the Blind Angler was warm, welcoming and fun. We sat at a table on the deck with a breathtaking view of the marina and lake. The owner and her team are incredibly friendly and accommodating and genuinely want their customers to have a memorable experience. The service was excellent and the food delectable. The desserts were especially amazing. I had the sense they were made just for us. That’s the way the owner makes you feel - welcomed and uniquely special. We would encourage everyone to visit the Blind Angler to experience true hospitality and the best food in Peachland.
What a gem. Stopped in for a late lunch on the way back from Naramata Heard the patio was dog friendly. From the outside didn’t know what to expect but the service and food was fantastic. Greeted promptly by our lovely waitress who offered a bowl of water for our dog and went through drink options. I had a lovely local white and my wife a white Sangria. Then ordered a delicious veg flat bread and the ultimate star the tuna poke nachos. These were an outstanding combination of a more than ample amount of sushi grade tuna with fresh avocado and mango, some pickled ginger and a wasabi crema on top of crispy wontons. This rivaled any appie from any of the “upscale “ winery restaurants and the prices were very reasonable. We will be back.
The food is always very enjoyable, the staff is quite good. The only thing to watch for is a young clientele who sometimes don't quite know how to act and behave in a nice restaurant. Though it is not the restaurant's fault that some people lack culture and manners. With that one caveat I do recommend this place.
What a fun little place. Right on the water. Price are great, friendly service and ample portions. The tuna poke nachos are a must! Sooo good. Also ordered calamari Ceasar salad and mini Yorkie!
Super friendly service and unique food. Menu is well crafted, will be visiting again. Had their ribs and was great. Make reservation !Food: 5/5
Had the tempura prawns and mussels in a pernod sauce. Both were very good. Try the mussels!Food: 5/5
This was the best eating experienced I had in the Okanagan. Enjoyed the Mussels with the Curry Sauce as well as a delicious beef burger. We soaked up every bit of sauce we could with the bread. The burger was amazing, great fries, and salad. The ladies working there are hilarious. I will be back.
My friends and I were beyond outraged at the abhorrent treatment we received at this restaurant - it was an outright display of RACISM. Upon entering the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon, we saw a few tables available, including one in the center. As the server tried to seat us there, the owner rudely interjected and shouted "DON'T place them in the corner!" We tried to brush it off, thinking that maybe the table was reserved, but there was no visible sign indicating that. After being seated at a corner table, we noticed a window table being vacated by another party. We politely asked our server if we could move there instead, since we hadn't even ordered yet. However, she told us that she couldn't move us due to their new POS system and that we were already slotted in our current location. We reluctantly agreed to stay put. But within two minutes, a white couple sitting adjacent to the coveted window table asked to be moved. Despite having food and drinks already served, the owner/manager readily granted their request, even telling them to take their cutlery with them. It was painfully obvious what was going on - we were being discriminated against. When the owner finally approached us to take our order, we explained the situation and how we were told we couldn't move. She tried to pass the blame onto the server, claiming that she was new and didn't know how to operate the system. But we weren't buying it at that point and made the decision to leave. The owner simply shrugged and said "fine, have a good day." As we walked out, one of my friends pointedly told the owner that she should put up a sign declaring that the restaurant ONLY WELCOMES WHITE PEOPLE. But the owner ignored her comment and didn't acknowledge the uncomfortable truth. And to add insult to injury, the other guests in the restaurant, all of them white, didn't say or do anything to support us!! I have lived in the Okanagan for two years now and have never experienced such blatant racism and discrimination anywhere. I strongly advise any person of color to steer clear of this establishment. Shame on these people! It's 2023 and this kind of bigotry should not be allowed to exist in broad daylight on a Sunday afternoon. I hope this business pays dearly for their actions - karma is real.
Great little place to grab a meal. All 3 of us enjoyed. Nice little view of the lake as well. I'll be coming back.Food: 5/5
