We went here for the first time this evening for my daughter's 15th birthday.  1.5 hr wait to get in. We ended up going back to see how the wait was due to no phone or text.. to find out they had the wrong #.. despite reading it back when initially given and it was correct.  Odd? We got seated, waiting for 2 more guests. We told the waitress our guest just parked and they would be right in to order drinks too, despite that she took a solid 10min to come back to the table. Got our food. Messed up on the type of beef for 2 of our guests The food was delicious but extremely greasy..they should drain their meat. The waitress left us with empty drinks for long periods. She also left a bunch of dirty dishes/empty cups on our table from appetizers while we were struggling to find room for our dinner. We realized it appeared that they only had 2 servers on..it's a Sunday night, Christmas time ,  your located in south common, and want to be running a smooth operation.. you should have more staff and managers on at all times. Nothing was offered for any of these issues, not even an apology. $160 bucks for 6 people, no kids menu. No liquor was ordered.

What an amazing experience. I'm a big fan of Mexican food and this restaurant set the bar very high.  I've tried almost all their tacos which were all extremely tasty and delicious. The quesadilla was amazing and you can't go wrong with the Tijuana tater tots.  They have an arsenal of amazing tequilas on their bar menu, the margaritas are above par and their bulldog choices are amazing.  My server has been Jennifer every time I've gone into the restaurant. She's amazing, personable, friendly and very knowledgeable with the food menu and tequilas. She seems to be the trainer as she always has someone training with her every time I'm there.  Amazing location, creative and fun decor. They have an amazing bright sun room, and a small outside patio. Definitely recommend this amazing Mexican restaurant.

This place really surprised me. The food was great! Huge portions! Definitely recommend to anyone craving Mexican food. Service was great as well, despite it being busy at end of our meal.  We came before 4:30pm ish  on a Monday night, wasn’t too busy but when we were finishing up around 530pm it was getting busier!

We've been here twice now and have had roughly the same opinion. The tacos were alright - the shrimp and the fish tacos were surprisingly good. The problem came with any of the slow cooked meats such as the pork/beef/chicken. The last time we were here the chicken was so salty that we both didn't eat our chicken tacos. The red cabbage that is served with the tacos was also very salty. At the end of the meal I told our server about this and she replied, "oh, a few other tables have said the same thing tonight. I'll let the kitchen know."  It's probably best in the future that the kitchen taste tests their batches prior to service.  Also both times we've gone in as a two top and there were multiple tables open. We were told by the two hostesses that it would be a half hour wait. After waiting over half hour and seeing over 20+ people leave both times we were seated at the same time as other groups that came after us.  From a process/flow perspective it doesn't make any sense - I can't see it helping the kitchen/servers by having zero flow.  Thanks for listening to my tedtalk.

Food was great, quick, options for many with dietary needs. Highly recommend - to ensure a seat make a reservation as wait times can be lengthy. Comfy booths on the patio, restaurant was busy but wait staff were doing a great job and with a smile.

We’ve been probably a dozen times now since it opened and have had the pleasure of being served by Japkaran twice now and he’s awesome : super friendly, fun to talk to, and good at his job. Everyone else we’ve had has been great too. Food is great, the happy hour specials are unbeatable, and they have the most authentic tasting margaritas we’ve had in Edmonton so far has more of that strong sour lime flavor than most places in Canada where it just tastes like a lime flavored slurpee. Love it here

Tried tacos both lunch hour and dinner. You could choose more than one flavor without extra cost. Tips for a group is auto 20%. The preference for the 4 flavor I tried is shrimp&gt; pork &gt;beef &gt; fish. Atmosphere and service is good.Food: 4/5

the hostess wasn’t very friendly but the waiter was. The service from the waiter was great & he recommended us dishes. We ended up getting a couple tacos, salsa & chips and the quesadilla. The quesadilla is a must try while you could skip the beef tacos. Overall I feel like there’s better taco places out there.Recommended dishesChips and Salsa, Quesadilla

We had dinner here on Monday night and it was fantastic!  It was half price margaritas and half price burritos.  Three of us had the blackened fish, and the portions were great!  One of us had the shrimp tacos, which she said were good.  The margaritas were very tasty.  The only negative was that the music was very loud.  We will definitely be returning for the food… service was also outstanding!!

I had a really amazing time here, food was amazing. Portions were on point. Drinks were fresh and had a whole array of flavour for the palate to dissect. I had an issue that management was beyond fast at reconciling.  Review#2 Came back for taco Tuesday, what a steal!!  If you aren’t used to the traditional style of Mexican tacos and don’t like a little extra juice, stick to the premium section of tacos! The kitchen knows what they are doing, I feel a lot of patrons are the ones who lack experience.
