Blairmore Liquor Store

I’m giving this one star even though it merits a zero. We made a 2 hour drive to Blairmore Liquor Store from our home with the intention of picking up a couple of cases of wines for which we had prepaid and then driving back the next day, which fit our work schedules. However, when I went into the store the sole staff member there refused to help me. She raised her voice to me and was extraordinarily rude - I’ve never been treated so poorly by anyone’s staff. She refused to do anything to help me, refused to give me the owner’s phone number, and was completely indifferent to the fact that I had made a two hour drive to pick up pre-paid products at the store. A friend of mine had previously received similar treatment from this person, and she treated my wife the same way on the phone when she tried to intervene. I cannot imagine hiring someone who drives customers away like that. I contacted the owner but apparently he has no interest in doing anything about it. Incomprehensible! And inexcusable. We will never give our business to this store as long as that person works there. This is really sad as all the others there are great folks to work with, and we’ve always gotten along well with the owner and have given a lot of business to him, such as relying on him to provide beverages for my wife’s several musical productions. I do not understand why keeping one abusive employee who refuses to do her job would be more important to him than keeping his best customers.

Edward and his staff are the best in southern Alberta hands down! They know all of their customers, have great prices and are the kindest people you'll meet. I go out of my way to shop at the Blairmore Liquor Store.
