Quiet Park around a homeless shelter/ safe injection site. Unfortunately there are some beautiful houses right next door to the shelter which I'm sure they're not very fond of but in my stay there, the people individually kept to themselves and didn't disturb the community around them from my experience at least . Located just after the train tracks by the church foundation that provides great donation deals / prices for essential and non-essential items, home furnishings and clothing, books
Thoughtful planning went into this park. The playgrounds are good for various ages, abilities, and interests. So nice to see wheelchair accessible and diversability inclusion. There is a spray park, multiple playgrounds, soccer fields, covered meeting area, skate park and more. Washroom facilities were well kept. One of the best parks!
Stopped by here to let the kid burn off some energy while traveling. Absolutely amazing. The ground is super soft rubber, so easy access for everyone, many different types of play areas for kids of all ages. Bathroom was pretty clean as well. The view was stunning as well. Perfect place to go with the kids if you're near there
Dog park was ok, wasn’t anything special. Honestly smelt like pee and poo. They didn’t have a spot for small dogs which was disappointing. But it was all fenced in. This park is ideal for bigger dogs to run around and get their energy out.
OK spot to take the dog outnIt can get pretty muddy out there, and there's some huge puddles the dogs like to play in. You should bring a towel if you drive there.nIts a huge area for pets to run around in also has a kind of sand track space.nDo be careful if your dog is an escape artist there a couple of spots along the road side where they can get out.nNo trails!
