Black Beard’s offers consistent comfort food with great service. On both occasions we went there for lunch and I highly recommend their fries. They are hand cut and crispy. The Reuben and spicy chicken sandwiches were both delicious. The service staff was quick to take our drink orders, then came by repeatedly to top them up. The food arrived quickly although the restaurant was busy on both visits. I recommend Black Beard’s for your family lunch or dinner. Next time I’m in town, I’ll be back.
Over the past few months our dining experience has been mediocre. Each time the waiting period is 10 minutes or more waiting for service to order a drink and look at a menu. One occasion I had to go up to a different server to get coffee as our server was nowhere to be found. The younger servers can be seen laughing and looking at each other's phones while standing behind the counter while other customers were waiting for service as well. Once the food arrives, it's been a hit and miss. On a weekend it appears the staff are unorganized scattering around to serve customers that have already been eating while others are waiting to order in their designated sections. Myself and others who have had the same experience feel a senior staff member should be on the floor as well to offer direction.

I went to this place all the way from Regina and it was worth the drive...hot roast beef was awesome and very generous serving...I'll be making this drive again
Blackbeards is a great local restaurant that serves the best food. Their homemade fries are delicious, and their Thursday steak day is a must. The service has always been great and super friendly.

Food was alright. Service was lacking on drink refills. And speaking of a previous encounter my wife ended up leaving one time and going somewhere else after not being served at all.Food: 3/5
Always a stop for me when I’m in town. Chicken strips, dill dip, fries, gravy on the side. 10/10
Poutine heaven!! We went for a quick meal and all ordered specialty poutines - so good!! Food came quickly, portions were really big and our waitress was nice.
