Gina has given me 2 updo styles, a highlight/lowlight colour & 2 haircuts since April & I’ve been super happy with all 4 services. I was looking for a salon that was using La Biosthetique hair products to restore my hair back from the dead and Black2Blond came up almost like a flagship salon. I unfortunately had the misfortune of seeing a hairdresser not affiliated with Black2Blond in any way! who really shouldn’t have called herself a “blonde specialist”. My hair received a lethal dose of bleach and went through the most apocalyptic shedding, breaking off and falling out process. I thought I was going to be bald/buzz cut - that’s how bad the damage was. Luckily, Gina at Black2Blond came to my rescue. In 2 treatments of PCC and 2 Oil therapy treatments my hair stopped shedding and started showing a little sign of life. It was supplemented by PCC at-home-care. Gina is a very experienced and extremely knowledgeable hairdresser/artist who can explain and recommend a needed product down to the chemistry level. She’s also very warm, kind and open to converse with! I’m happy with the results given the very grave situation, so far. We also spoke about a 0.5/1 year plan to restore and manage my hair going forward. I would highly recommend La Biosthetique hair products the best the market has to offer IMHO, and of course, Gina is a superstar - thank you!!!Services: Hairstyling
I like a lot about Black 2 Blond, but have had this horrible experience twice so will never use them again. I called and asked for a quote for hair color roots only and was quoted $130. Then at the end they charged me closer to $200 citing that i have thick hair, and they also charged me $5 for the cappuccino they offered me i thought that is why you pay 130 to color your roots, for a free cappucino as part of the expensive price! . They show a menu for drinks, but without a price. This is absurd. I ended up walking out of there for more than $100 more than I had been quoted. It is unreasonable to quote someone a price, and not stick to it. If you charge extra for thick / more hair, tell people up front. It is a minimum of $130, but we will charge you 1.5 times that if we end up using more dye. You also need to ask, would you like to purchase a drink from our menu, it will be $5, rather than 'would you like a cappucino?' then just add it to the bill. A rip off.Service: Hairstyling
Such a nice salon! The staff are very friendly, and the stylists talented. The salon is beautiful and spacious. Brandon was my stylist and was amazing. I was traumatized from my last salon experience I actually had to shave my head because the salon messed up so bad. So I was nothing but anxious to have someone else touch my hair again. Despite Brandon not knowing any of this he was so kind, considerate and gentle. Plus the head massage at the sink was really icing on the cake. My hair looks beautiful and I'm excited for next time.Service: Hairstyling
