The food was amazing! Everyone enjoyed the sushi and bento boxes! The only thing I wasn't fond of was not being able to sit with our entire party. We had to split our party in half because of the space.
First time trying something new. What a great experience. Food was bursting with flavor, we even special order sushi off of a hidden menu. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. I would recommend stopping in and trying something new.
super delicious, super quick service, and everyone was so nice! we got the coconut shrimp, salad/miso soup, and the following rolls: firecracker, september, and the mango roll. they were so yummy, and i was so full by the end. i have a fully trained service dog that attended with me. everyone there was so respectful of him and could tell he was working. i felt so relaxed here
Biwako is "THE" sushi restaurant, no others exist. Sure, you can find a plethora in the area these days but none compare to this one. The hubs and I have been coming here since they first opened and have been faithful ever since. Not to say we haven't deviated a few times while on vacation but we always end up comparing the food to Biwako's and have learned that it never measures up. So why bother? We often get take out but I do suggest dining in at least once so you can try their miso soup and the salad they serve. I recommend trying the wasabi dressing as I'm not a fan of ginger. We tend to order the same rolls repeatedly but I can't imagine any of their food is bad. So if you're craving sushi and want to try the best place around, I recommend the spicy Cali my kid's favorite!, the crunch n' munch, the caterpillar, and the Andrew's special. A big "Thank You!" to Andrew, the owner, for taking such good care of us over the years and maintaining such a fine establishment. We hope you're in business for years to come!
This was my first visit to Biwako and definitely will not be my last. Rolls were large, delicious and the bill was very reasonable! I recommend highly.Food: 5/5
They don’t seem to think paying for salad affords you more than 5 pieces of lettuce and didn’t care to put my sushi in an appropriate box, so it just slid all over the place. I really wish there was another sushi place in Saline.
The Dak Bak-um box is fantastic. Always great service and fantastic food.
Huge props on the house ginger dressing -- acidic, gingery. No yum yum sauce-likeness in there which is perfect! Sushi is on par or better than others in the area as well. I'll definitely be back!Food: 5/5
Oh my WOW! I have never done sushi in a restaurant before because I am a rookie. I'm a Wednesday $5 sushi Krogers dude. Boy, was I missing out. From entering this small and warm place to our exit, it was top notch. We were greeted warmly as we entered. The staff was available to answer all my simple questions. Before you knew it, food was at our table. Quick, filling and full of flavor. So many options for you to pick from. The hot sake was just right with our meals. This is a great getaway to relax or simply a date night. Andy and his crew really made our visit enjoyable. Trying to figure out another time to visit AGAIN! Sorry Krogers...done with you. Sorry I forgot to take photos. I was enjoying my food too much. Highly Recommend this wonderful place.
Amazing sushi and usually very fast. Typically we do take-out, but we ate inside last week and it was just as good if not better. Small space, but cozy!Recommended dishesSushi
